i was die hard nokia fan, then switch over to iphone but after i bought samsung note i have switch over my loyalty towards samsung hence im giving up nokia (cdma) & a gsm fone to buy this dual sim i589 phone im sure this fone will be good.!! :)

Looks like there is little clarity on specs. Some site say its 2.3, some say its 2.2. Some say it has Adreno 205, some say nothing..

Great Effort by Samsung to re-enter CDMA territory. The phone runs like a dream on EVDO network. But it would have been great if it supported EDGE / 3G on GSM also. 3 MP camera is a huge let down. Battery back-up is as u expect from an Android smartphone. You need to charge it upto twice a day. I got it for INR 14000 at Kolkata.

An option to use either CDMA/GSM or GSM/GSM should be there, so as to please all class.

Price (Rs.16990) looks high if it doesn't have 5MP cam, Secondary camera,no video calls, OS:2.3 Android.
