Someone suggested of a firmware and 64 mb update, how to go about it, can someone suggest the same.
Should one go to the Samsung care centre for the same and hope there will be no network issues as posted by everybody after this.
Also, is this phone available on retail stores or only online.

My Samsung J2 buy on September 25th has net work problem. When put the auto mode 2g/3g it con't get network connection at 2g networks.

Superb, amazing, fantastic, wonderful, awesome, mind blowing etc etc etc. No words to praise this beautiful handset. Opens all the documents file smoothly. Usb on the go is so smooth. It works great. I have note 4 with me. I bought it as a secondary handset but now I have kept my note 4 aside and I am using this phone. I love this phone. Really great. It has got perfect display to view videos. I mean in clearity. I bought it for 7900/- It offers more than double the price. Thanks Samsung.

For all those people who are having network problem,try to upgrade ur firmware because this issue is caused by unknown IMEI no upgrading urslf firmware might resolve ur problem

The issue was resolved by a 64 mb update.
Moto g 3rd gen is very much expensive than this one. If one has to go for moto g3, one can simply go got j5 if he is not a stock android fan as j5 is better in most of cases..

this phone is good.... please carefully goi through the mobile perfectly...if u alws keep the 4G/#G netwrk alws thn u will surely face prblms.... BUt keep it selected as GSm only...u will face no prblm...when u want to use 3g/4g select tht..... otherwise phone is damn awesome with best affordable price... anyone can buy it and samsung had launched thios phone to amke avail;able...for all budget of people....so please first go through the detail usage of the phone , then post something.

After the 63.78mb update the network issue has been resolved... now its workng properly. No lag and heating probelm found till now. Very happy to purchase j2. Go ahead and buy it widout any worries.
