As it promised earlier, Samsung announced a pair of new Galaxy M-series phones in India – a redesigned Galaxy M13 4G and an all-new Galaxy M13 5G. Not to be confused with the Galaxy M13 4G which launched back in May, the new Galaxy M13 4G features a redesigned rear camera design and a larger 6,000 mAh battery. The rest of the specs are carried over from the international Galaxy M13 4G – a 6.6-inch FHD+ LCD, Exynos 850 chipset, 50MP main cam, 5MP ultrawide snapper and a 2MP depth helper.
Galaxy M13 5G brings a 6.5-inch LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate and a waterdrop notch for its 8MP selfie cam. The back features a 50MP main cam and a 2MP depth module. The phone is equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 chipset and can be had with 4/6 GB RAM and up to 128GB storage which is expandable via microSD. The battery department is headline by a 5,000mAh cell with 15W charging capabilities. Both new phones boot Android 12 with Samsung’s One UI Core 4 on top.
The new Galaxy M13 models will be available in Midnight Blue, Stardust Brown and Aqua Green colors. Galaxy M13 4G starts at INR 11,999 ($150) for the 4/64GB trim while the M13 5G will go for INR 13,999 ($175) for the 4/64GB trim. ICICI Bank Card holders get an INR 1,000 flat discount. Open sales in India start on July 23 via Samsung.com, Amazon India and offline retailers.
