I Brought My Note 3 (Golden Black) Recently Here In Kuwait And I Had To Get My Money Refunded After merely 2 Days The Problem That I Was Facing was the Overheating ON The Top of the Phone(Camera Area,Speaker Area) While Merely Browsing The Internet And Placing Viber Calls( And Trust me It gets so Hot That It is Difficult To hold It Against ears) They Even Replaced Once But The problem remains the same.. So Is This happening With everyone who is buying a new piece? I Really Wanted To Buy This Phone But This Problem Is Frightening Me ...

A few initial thoughts are:
1) Build quality and looks are first rate. The stitching on the back is gone, the metal is a dark grey apart from the silver bevels. The wobble in the home button is gone but the volume rocker has a slight wobble. It feels and looks thinner.
2) Gapgate isn't an issue. There is no difference compared from the Note 3 apart from the 2.5D glass "rolling" into the edge which may create the illusion of a gap. There is no way i can fit anything along the edge.
3) The screen is AWESOME. It is considerably whiter, brighter, has better viewing angles and is better in sunlight than the Note 3.
4) The QHD screen resolution increase is only noticeable on the smallest of webpage text and then only just.
5) The speaker has good volume but the quality isn't great. Not an issue as i use headphones.
6) Fingerprint scanner works well but can't be rushed.
7) The left key functions (settings and recent apps) have now been switched which is painful.
8) Most apps and menus are now white not black. It looks better but may use more battery. Menus are generally laid out better.
The improvements over the Note 3 aren't as big as the Note 3 vs the Note 2 but still a good upgrade.
I will do a more detailed review after a day or 2 of use.
Was , 13 Nov 2014Battery drains very quickly need to charge two to three times a day 3200mah worst battery I never had to charge mine 3 times a day. Ii shouldnt need charged 3 times in one day unless youve ruined your battery over charging it. Buy new battery.

AnonD-218710, 12 Nov 2014Did you guys had a stability update of 80 gb, it's fine to the teeth. Rest send feed back as... moreI recieved small update two weeks ago. Dont know what it was for. I thought it was maybe a small pre release for 4.4.4 update. The way samsung pushes updates out we would be lucky yo get 4.4.4 update. We are suppose to get it this month. But nothing so far.
Did you guys had a stability update of 80 gb, it's fine to the teeth. Rest send feed back as soon. Not updated to 4.4.4 quiet alarming. When is Lolipop5 expected.
Samsung Fan, 11 Nov 2014Will it include ART runtime support? Also will UI change or that will happen with Android ... moreI had to look this up. The ART runtime is something we've been able to dabble with for a little while now but from Android 'L' we'll be using it exclusively as it replaces Dalvik.Google is promising a 2x performance increase over Dalvik You can google it and read up on it. Yes. the UI will change when and if we get android L.
AnonD-329710, 10 Nov 2014i am a macbook pro 2013 user and currently using BB. these days i am choosing btw 5s and note ... moreI owned a 5s and sold it for M8 but still have Note 3 with me.Samsung's best i can say is in note till now it hasn't dissapointed me yet literally no lags.Iphone 5s is good too but yeah you can't even go to torrents site so forget about playing them on your phone. It plays only standard videos for online streaming and downloading other than youtube.

hotlips, 11 Nov 2014To be safe take it to service centre! They get the tip out for you. Theres an app hotlips on playstore called (AUTO 3G)it switches your data off in idle mode.and activates it when you open your phone automaticly, ive been using it for just over 2yrs now and it will double your battery life in a day.just go into settings and set it as you feel fit.and set it so if you recieve a call data will not be switched on until you put the phone down.wish ppl in all forums look out for this instead of complaining about there battery back-up! cus constant data in idle mode is just a waste.anyways just a thought ;-)
