You might want to try out Juice Defender with it. For me, there has been a noticeable prolonged power longevity, or should I say standby time with a moderate use of the Note. My Note is still running for the past 15 hours, with about 17% power left. I played Sentinel 3 HD for about 2 hours, calls at 10 minutes, internet browsing at 1 hour total, 2 hours music on Bluetooth, editing excel for half hour. Juice Defender essentially shuts down data transmissions when not needed thereby conserving the battery when you just need it.
I have Samsung Galaxy S2. I have not yet got a USB OTG adapter. I cannot connect my pendrives. Now they have introduced Galaxy Note without this adapter. This adapter is still not available here in Kerala, India. If Samsung are not generous enough to supply it with the mobile set, at least they should make the adapter available in the market.
Even though I wish to upgrade to Galaxy Note yet I am hesitant because I don't know when the adapter will be available. I wish Galaxy S2 had the S pen.

Click on your message tab at your main screen interface, scroll down to MMS settings, then click on creation mode. From there, click restricted. That should do it.

I think it will not increase the internet browsing time but at least it prolongs the standby time by turning off data connection most of the time till you need it. Anyone out there with tips on using it fully for the Note? I've done the costumed settings with the peak times, but what's the best practice?
Juice Defender Ultimate has a very high rating and hopefully it can help us Note users getting the most out of this machine.
it will be kind of, if someone can help me on this issue.
whenever i type message which is more than 3 SMS it automatically converts the message into MMS. how can i stop it from converting into MMS & stay into normal SMS. i am aware that it can be done by installing an application called go sms, but there should be a way to make it happen in the default settings.
