Been waiting since last year for the Samsung S6. Not its here.
Find out no SD card. No removable battery.
Don't want the New S6 anymore. Let Samsung keep the phone.
Don't want to pay more for a 32 or 64 bit phone.
Could of went and got a Apple Phone if that is what I was interested in.
Anonymous, 02 Mar 2015If I ever get an android phone, it will be Samsung and nothing else. They nearly perfected S6 ... moreYou are right. They raised the bar really high this year, so now Sony and LG have to really think of something ground breaking too to announce for 2015.
AnonD-227534, 02 Mar 2015Ahh i think that amd not us.. some contries doesnt have the 64 or 128 gb s6 ( samsung policy))... moreI forgot to say, Samsung is clearly showing that those S6 are now real "flagships", both by look and by tech. Internal storage is comparable to ssd according to benchs so no microsd can match it whatever pro extreme version you find.
If you can't cope with it, there are other solutions or other phones cheaper (like HTC M9 or lower ranges) where you can throw in a 128gb microsd card.
Afterall, they only listened to you all guys : "blabla plastic not premium material"
They found a way to manufacture a both light-weighted and looking expensive phone for you to look cool in front of Apple's.
If I ever get an android phone, it will be Samsung and nothing else. They nearly perfected S6 and made all other android phones not even worth considering. Although this time I might go with the ios...
Anonymous, 02 Mar 2015I bought all galaxy S since the 1st one in 2010. That microsd part is a let down for sure, but... moreNon removable battery!! thats a BIG NO NO for me. I'm not gonna buy this phone for this reason alone. On my Galaxy S4 I go through 3 batteries in a day sometimes... just so many pics to take and a lot of apps just consume a lot of battery. Its very convenient to change the battery instead of missing out on a conference and keep waiting in a long queue to charge up the phone.
Extremely disappointed in the missing sd card slot. I've seen some people comment that it should be fine since they will offer 32/64/128 internal memory. I only have one question, at what cost? And if I can find a 64GB SD card for one price and a 128GB for another and the difference is minimal, is that the price structure Samsung will use? Probably not, in fact you will pay an outrageous premium. I'm also very disappointed that I can't remove the battery. As opposed to some, I have had to remove the battery however infrequently, I prefer the option. I'm also disappointed that they believe that we bought their phone in the first place because it was basically an iPhone clone. We bought for the exact opposite reason, because we had the flexibility to make these changes, like swapping out sd cards.
AnonD-227534, 02 Mar 2015Ahh i think that amd not us.. some contries doesnt have the 64 or 128 gb s6 ( samsung policy))... moreGive Samsung some time, the phones just got announced yesterday and they won't be available before next month.
In my country, i've seen only 16gb versions of all previous Galaxy S, never more capacity. So i think we are in same case and Samsung will really make available at least 32 and 64gb versions everywhere.
For removing battery, yes there are many reasons. But i think i'm not the only Galaxy S *real* owner who says, i never need to remove it from any of my Galaxy. Those phones just never crash to that point. If battery is empty, i just plug the charger. And with S6, in 10 minutes you get 4hrs of usage.
You got chargers everywhere nowadays, in your car, at work, on any machine with a USB port. Microusb is a more than common standard. So heavy user or not, it's a simple matter of organization.
As someone was pointing out : it's even clever to walk around with a powerbank than an additional battery, since that you have to turn off your phone or be interrupted and starting all over again.
The real bad part is if you damage the battery outside of the warranty. Because within the warranty's time, a non removable battery will be free of replacement by Samsung unlike removable ones.
1000 usd for what? We cannot remove anymore the battery, we cannot put the SD? And also the phone have shity battery life and where is IP67????????????? No Water and dust Resistant??? WTF...
Tatoo, 02 Mar 2015OMG,how can u people complain about a 64 giga memory on a phone, even 32 is more than enough,wh... morewell to be honest if someone takes a lot of pictures it takes up a lot of space quickly. my s5 is a 16gb and 5gb is lost to the firmware then you have apps etc. leaving me with just 3gb left. that deosnt even include my pics. i have a 64gb sd card and i have just 30gb left on it from all of my pics and vids some are in 4k. which you have to remember are incredibly huge. memeory on these phones can get eaten up quickly. so i have a total of 75gb only 45 of it is already used lol.
AnonD-56991, 02 Mar 2015I'm a very heavy user and after a year batteries average about 20% less capacity and that is a... moreDid you buy a S5?
I have yet to meet someone who degraded its battery.
It's the only "normal" phone which can do whole day with no additional charge whatever you throw at it.
And anyway, now external powerbanks are common with far more capacity than an additional battery.
AnonD-227534, 02 Mar 2015Ahh i think that amd not us.. some contries doesnt have the 64 or 128 gb s6 ( samsung policy))... moreSorry man but S6 is not SDcard supported. It has no slot, only built-in memory is available.

Removing battery just when flashed custom roms... i think therw is soooo many reasons to remove a batterry.. 128 gb s6 is vwry expensive and we cant buy it or 64 gb but we can purxhase 16 GB or 32GB s6 and buy an sd card of 32 GB that costs 20$$ and save 300$$ by avoiding 128 GB s6... so if u tell me that this phone only for rich people i have toaay that this is apple policy and not samsung policy...
Anonymous, 02 Mar 2015No sd card, no expanded battery option. Might as well buy a crapple phone. Now things can never be as bad as that to have to lower your standards to go to iPhone.
