syamli, 28 Jul 2012I like this very much.... I'll be waiting asap!!!This is close to my dream phone. Hope there will be a phone like this with TV and a Rugged one or Water, Proof, shock Proof and dust resistance with 1.3 MP front camera
it has the same specs as the HTC Desire V (Already available), now it boils down to other factors such as software support and after sales service by the two companies (HTC & Samsung)
Pranav.r, 28 Jul 2012I'm really disappointed. It is really poor than original 2 year old galaxy s. Bad display bad ... moreA 1GHz Cortex A5 is more powerful than a 1GHz scorpion. Agreed though that the GPU is worse in this.
Loved this one from Samsung.....hope it's affordable....fingers crossed !!
TONY, 26 Jul 2012SAMSUNG Plz, not overprice this phone.15000INR or less.No way should be grater than 18000inr
I'm really disappointed. It is really poor than original 2 year old galaxy s. Bad display bad chipset so bad performance.samsung should provide at least adreno 205 gpu with 1ghz scorpion the same inside xperia mini and xperia arc!
at last a dual SIM phone that has a bigger display plus better features well done Samsung thumbs-up keep up the good work "definitely gonna buy it when it released on market" :)
rish, 27 Jul 2012why dont you guys check the source link i gave ?? too lazy to check that out ok check the... morehave checked the links but... let's leave the discussion anyway until this phone is released. We'll get to know the true results then.
how this snapdragon1ghz processor got ics while my sgs1 also hav 1ghz processor but exynos cant hav ics..my gush..and also snapdragon has lte ..
yet samsung optimize android very well..but better use snapdragon coz easy to get update and also has lte..exynos speed doesnt matter anymore..it still laggy in android..snapdragon is good for longivity..
im disappoint with my s3..i felt no innovation at all..just som little tweaky features..dis is my last mistake with android and samsung..
if note will out with lte, then my s3 wiil be design for nothing..better sell it..
Sxcr.3219, 27 Jul 2012Really?
Have u seen the cf-bench benchmarks?
Which ... morewhy dont you guys check the source link i gave ??
too lazy to check that out
ok check the benches of htc explorer
what did i say read it AGAIN
CLOCK FOR CLOCK
dont compare htc explorer with samsung galaxy s .. why ?
because xplorer processor has 600 mhz processor and galaxy s has 1ghz . that is not fair . comparison should be made at same frequency .
compare both of them at same frequency
besides that if you have opened up the benchmarks of htc explorer you can clearly see htc explorer ahead of galaxy s in quadrant score.
and i have tested it personally .
i have a tablet similar to funbook cortex a8 1.2 ghz mali 400 mp
when i underclock my tab to 600 mhz my device cf bench score were
1975 , 723 ,1223
htc explorer - 3262,982,1894
same results in antutu benchmark
see the antutu benchmark of htc desire v having same chip/specs as glaxy s duos
antutu score for cpu was 999
my cortex a8 at 1.1 ghz gave me 937 points
here is the video for htc desire v
and if you still do not believe me please read this
rish, 25 Jul 2012the processor in this is better than cortex a8.
yes it is cortex a5 but it is the new and imp... moreReally?
Have u seen the cf-bench benchmarks?
Which is higher than that of the htc explorer..
And when the s duos has to deal with a higher resolution with the weak processor and even weaker GPU the original SGS will be the winner.
