Didn't notice a difference between the two. Battery is exactly the same, drains within a day and a half on both.

Do you feel a big difference in the battery life of the two watches?

I upgraded but didn't sell my Watch 7, sold Watch 9 within a month of use, i like the design of Watch 7 better, since it's more confortable.
