RONALD, 13 Apr 2011How long before we see screen burn-in and deterioration with this Super AMOLED Plus? 6 months?... moreNeither gsmarena dot com nor Samsung wants a phone to last long: Samsung needs to sell more phones each year passing and gsmarena to speak about such new releases, it is a business for them. If everybody would buy a phone with a screen which lasts long people would not come back on this site. Samsung found the solution: you cna upgrade yourself the operating system or live with a slow processor but you can't change yourself a limited life span screen so they are in control when you''l by a new one, first OLED, then AMOLED, then Super AMOLED, then Super AMOLED Plus, after 6 months Super AMOLED Mega and so on.
I went to buy HTC & end up buying Samsung Galaxy S...& I'm really happy wz my choice...Cant wait for Samsung Galaxy S II
joonius, 13 Apr 2011I'm using Omnia 2 currently... no signs of burn after year and half. This is the older AMOLED ... moreYour Omnia 2 uses a first generation AMOLED, there wasn't any burn-in with that screen. Pixel aging became a problem when Samsung increased the brightness with the introduction of the Super AMOLED displays.

This is one of the best smart phones in the world. If I have to choose between this, the Atrix and the LG Optimus 3D I would be in trouble! :))

Rajan, 13 Apr 2011I can't spent 35000Rs for this mobile... Its too too high budget..! I waited for this for a lo... moreDont jump the Gun yet -- is this an official price or pre-order price... just wait until it is actually in your area then see..
This is it, People would want to buy iphone 4,but due to price factor they will settle down with ipod touch 4 ( 1 gig processor and gaming capability and retina display).
ipod touch 4 32 gb = 15k INR., bad viewing angle , u will have to carry a phone separately. no divx, cannot install freely lots of restrictions.
if you are willing to spend extra 3-4 K inr . Galaxy SL i9003 is the one. it has good viewing angle than iphone 4. good display , excellent gaming capability. check the specs. this device will be sufficient in all aspects. only problem poor battery.
if u need good battery life then only Nokia.
If you want to show off that you are carrying costlier phone and want to show off you are rich .. then 30 k , 35 K price range phones. anyways all the features no one will use.
Awesome specs... Its alright if battery life sucks. At least SGS II allows u smartphone freaks to carry spare batt around - just in case you choose not to do anything else other than watching youtube, talking to ur GF or BFF via Tango, FB-ing, Tweet-ing and e-mailing all day round. Get what I mean folks??? sorry to be mean.
NFC support (optional)?
does that mean that some models will and some wont?
