Shdxb, 01 Mar 2012Samsung galaxy GS2I9100, heating too much..downloaded more applications, how i can overcome thi... moreI have also have such problem before, but latter I realised that many of this applications that we are just downloading are just a repetition of what the phone itself has capacity of doing,so I can only advice that:
1, study your phone very well
2, reduce the Applications since many are just irrelevant as some of this applications runs under and drains the batteries very fast and finally leads to heating up the phone.
If after all this the situation still remain the same, don't hesitate to take it to a qualified Samsung repair centre in it area. I love this phone and so I took much re studying the problem, though I took it to a repair centre and was upgraded to vs 2.3.5 instead of vs 2.3
so i'm trying to pick between these 2 phones: Samsung galaxy s2 and Samsung galaxy nexus. which one is the best?
Sourav163, 02 Mar 2012I am using it for last 6 months. it is a very good smart phone. it is same as apple iphone 4s.it is better than iphone 4s
BlinG, 02 Mar 2012I am not fan of this phone which is to big for me, having it near my ear seems strange.
Inc... moreThat's it.
Marketing has done its job and this phone keeps being way too expensive as it was a year ago.
If consumers keep on "buying blindly", large companies will keep getting enormous profits... at our expenses.
This phone - as many others in the market - is too expensive, but it will remain so as long as people queue to buy it.
The power to change it? It's obviously in our hands.
200 mp front camera not many in market, handle skype video call very good.nice and clear.
My phone, in general Samsung galaxy s2 is the king with unbeaten performance even with latest quad core phones out...
I am not fan of this phone which is to big for me, having it near my ear seems strange.
Incredibly its price is still the same as it was at launch one year ago, meaning it is still selling like hot cake and Samsung doesn't have any reason to drop its price.
According to its popularity it must be a great phone
I really like this mobile so much, really a great one, nice work Samsung :)
android user, 01 Mar 2012Im currently using xperia ray.. I want to buy a new phone with a larger screen. But im not gon... morewell what do you mean with Sony have less power? did you see the Xperia S?
No doubt gs2 is the best smart phone available in the market
gs2 defeat all heavy weight phones of other brands easily like apple, htc, nokia etc
but when i see here in gsm arena forum the ranking shows n8 ahead than n8
Its really strange. I used n8 14 months and using gs2 since september 2011 and in my opinion gs2 is faaaaaaaar better than nokia n8 , even nokia n8 cant compet gs2.
So i again request to all proud user of gs2 to please vote your phone daily
please tell me android games link.. so i can download android games...
Okay guys ...
I jusy bought original Samsung USB OTG cable & an MHL-HDMI cable for my SII.The USB worked fine. I tried copying about 2GB from my Sdcard to Usb & vice versa. It's a bit slow process but did the job nicely without any problem.
Next, I connected my HDMI cable to the MHL & my full HD LED TV and played a movie in 1250*720 and then, a movie in 1920*980. Both ran perfectly and I had no issues with the Audio & Video. However, after 2hr33min of full HD playback, my phone's temperature was 57°C and it dropped to 48°C only after I closed the video player and unplugged the charger. After that, the temp was about 28-40°C whoch is absolutely perfect.
Had my SGS2 been a unibody design, the hot Aluminium would have burned my hands! Anyways, I'm super excited about watching movies on my HDTV using my SII.
Cheers to all SII owners! ;)
I am using it for last 6 months. it is a very good smart phone. it is same as apple iphone 4s.
android user, 01 Mar 2012Im currently using xperia ray.. I want to buy a new phone with a larger screen. But im not gon... moreS2 is more powerful than nexus... and you can use it with one hand unlike the huge brick nexus that will eat more battery..
Am due for upgrade this week. My heart screams SGS2, but my head says is is too big. My phone is an extension of my hand and my BB9300 which fits neatly in my hand. S2 appears too big to fit into trouser pocket/carry around in hand. Whenever I leave phone in my bag, I miss calls/notifications, so prefer to have it in hand/pocket where I can feel vibration. Pse help.
