AnonD-3454, 20 Mar 2014But thanks a lot for the info! :)
Btw, you no longer using samsung, right?I no longer use it but it's still in the house.
Gave the SIII to my wife. She gave her SII to my mother. And I took my mother's Windows Phone to experiment.
Anthony, 19 Mar 2014Ok first things first, it was a wife vs girlfriend joke.
But if you want to get technical.... moreWell, i don't have any problem with the sd card restrictions. In fact i might not even update my s3 if there are bugs on 4.4 kitkat.
Jellybean 4.1.2 meets all the expectations which i had while buying the s3.
AnonD-131407, 19 Mar 2014it's quite old anyway, you could go for Xperia SP or Xperia ZR.But Xperia SP has poor display and camera, so does the ZR. The S3 sold millions and millions and still remains excellent next to last years flagships where Sony's offerings seem to fade away into obscurity...
AnonD-3454, 19 Mar 2014Good features will expire after the 4.4 update? Why?Ok first things first, it was a wife vs girlfriend joke.
But if you want to get technical. "Flash" which was one of the attractive things that made Android standout from Windows Phone & iPhone. it was no longer supported by Google at the start of jelly bean. But you could still get it from archives and it would work. But in kitkat not even the archive versions of flash works.
As for SD card restrictions, If Google wants to pull support for SD cards they can. The Nexus which is there phone don't even have an SD card slot an Android is there OS. So what other manufacturers choose to put on there device (like SD card slot) is not there problem. the OS is open source so they can guide manufacturers but they can't force them to remove anything even if they not going to support it. So if the restrictions on the SD card slot is never removed, don't be surprised.
AnonD-131407, 19 Mar 2014it's quite old anyway, you could go for Xperia SP or Xperia ZR.but their camera is not as good as s3
