AnonD-59886, 08 Jul 2012Here is my final review after a few weeks of using the Samsung Galaxy S III...
Pros:
1)Awe... moreThank goodness someone telling truth..I was one of the first to get SGS3 and i did not find it that lag free or smooth..Even tho i disagreed about RAM it does need more RAM.This is running all this power and still has stutters now and again.
I did not find the screen that good..Playing that HD video you get on device the contrast levels are bad ..It is too dark in some places and think its because when you turn it on its side due to NON IPS display it suffers in viewing angles..The screen could do with a few more NIts of brightness.
I did not enjoy it so sold it but if i go back to SGS2 it has useless Yamaha audio chip..So would have to go back to original SGS but no LED flash..
I agree with anyone who says if you have SGS2 then its not worth upgrade to SGS3 and those fancy voice search and face screen turn off when not looking are gimmicks..Even if you like them you will get bored of them
I am very much interest in this device, but in no where it is mentioned about the sim it is single sim double?
CAN SOMEONE HELP ME?
Very nice Phone
samsung galaxy s3's quad core processor are not compatible with many android apps, they run awesome in single or dual core processor also. so in present apps performance dual core=quad core!!n many of android apps are only made for 3.5 inches screen and its 4.8 inches larges display make some apps blurres or pixelate!!!
Galaxy s3 design not good s2 design are amazing
Very nice phone.... very very smooth... not a hint a lag... the screen size is nice... HD specs... oh man I love it...
Is there any pre installed game in s3 , this is my 1st smartphone nd 1st day so maybe i couldn't find it , reply fast , plz.
Here is my final review after a few weeks of using the Samsung Galaxy S III...
Pros:
1)Awesome Screen. The vivid display is great to watch videos and pics. The touchscreen is much smoother than the S2 and less prone to fingerprints.
2)Camera and video recording is very good(obviously not a replacement for your Digial cam/SLR but still very good)
3)Heating issue of the S2 has been solved in the S3. The phone only gets warm even after using it for over 2 hours nonstop(Amazing!!!).
4)Extra features like Smart Stay, Direct Call, Shake to update, Pop-up Play, etc. work quite well(For Smart Stay to work properly, your face need to be visible clearly in the light).
5)Music quality is superb...much better then the S2(I had to use Mixzing player in the S2 coz the stock player produced crappy bass effects). No need to download any external player for the S3(album art though is messed up big time though)
6)Battery life is pretty decent. I get about 1.5 to 2 days of battery life with normal use including calls, sms, chatting on watsapp, music, taking a few pics, watching videos, and a little bit of gaming.
7)It's absolutely comfortable to hold due to its design and even though it quite big, I can use it with one hand.
8)Voice quality on calls is very good and also has options for noise cancellation and equilizers.
Cons:
1)The S3 lags a bit while scrolling in the menu and when you pinch to minimize all menu/widget pages.(Hopefully Jelly Bean update will solve this issue)
2)The S2 had a lag while opening unread messages in Messaging and the S3 also has the same lag(very disappointing)
3)Multitasking is not even close to the S2. You can open max 5-6 apps after which the system shuts down apps automatically, which means all your unsaved data is lost! If your playing a 3D game and you need to open the browser(a couple of other apps open like watsapp, chaton, gallery), most likely your game will be closed due to less memory and you will need to start the game from the beginning again.
4)Apps like Watsapp & ChatOn lag like crazy while scrolling through the chats(worse than my S2).
5)The looks of the phone is not what you expect out of a high-end phone. HTC One X and the S2 look much better. Build quality is pretty good though and it feels very solid in the hand.
6)S Voice is just an added feature and does not work as expected.
Conclusion: For those not owning an SGS 2 you can buy the S3 without second thoughts...you wont regret it. However, It's not worth upgrading from the SGS 2 to the SGS 3 because the S2 user interface was smoother and multi-tasking was much better than the S3.
what is this lte (regional)? i bought s3 international with exynos, suddenly the s3 with snapdragon appeard with lte capability..samsung turn on snapdragon coz of lte capability,is it mean to say that exynos has no lte..?if that so, wat is that lte regional for???!!!! for blaming people...??? owww shheeet samsung, shame on you...
Network signal reception of this phone is weak compared to S2.
very rich too cost in india not for middle class
glaxy s3 is amazing .its quad core prosser made its fast .wow
the one thing i hate the most is seeing fanboy comments . . it's very childish
the S3 and LG4X are both equally good, all these fanboys are showing to people are how childish and unprofessional they are, i mean, these are expensive gadgets we're talking about, not toys or video games, kids don't own these or don't care about specs, all they want are the games installed on it, so stop acting like one
