Hi Guys.. has anyone upgraded to kitkat? is it better than the default OS i.e 4.3?? Please let me know, as i am planning to update it, also, are there a lot of benefits like better battery life and all once upgraded to kitkat? if yes, which version is better?

Will you kindly comment on the oft-mentioned Overheating & Battery drain issue?... moreHlo Arth. Dear all smart phones have the tendency to generate heat on continuous gaming and surfing. S3 neo is no exception. However, it doesn't generate too much heat. At least it is far lesser than s3 and s4. Still photography is really good. Photographs are always crisp and same is the case with the video quality. Rear cam records 1080p whereas the front facing cam i.e. 2 mp is exceptionally good on Skype and records 720p videos. Battery is good, on normal usage it lasts for 1.5 day and if used heavily it needs charging every night.
I would reiterate that this is perhaps the best option in this price.

abdul, 25 Jan 2015i think it has a gorilla glass, as specified in gsmarenaHlo Abdul. I don't think there is any mention of gorilla glass in the specifications of S3 neo. But its wonderful mobile even without it.

Its absolutely perfect and very responsive. Yes its amoled and has notification light which is more luminous on black and pebble blue than the white one. It came with the protector affixed on the display. I am from Pakistan and therefore cannot comment on Flipcart. However, I don't believe in on line purchases. The joy of purchasing from a shop is always a pleasure for me. Finally I can say that so far my experience is really great and I enjoy it more than s3 due to its bigger ram and dual sim functionality. Hope, have answered all your questions.

Is it better than the default OS? so as u r saying that it lacks Gorilla Glass, is the screen very delciate or sensitive? does this phone come with a scratch guard or the usual Samsung sticker branding and AMOLED Display and NFC & all written on a plastic cover? which we then replace with a proper scratch guard?? u bought the mobile from flipkart? does it have multicolor LED notification light?
