Siemens has licensed the flagship application from Openwave Phone Suite Version 7, Openwave Mobile Browser Version 7. The browser represents an advance in mobile browsing technology, including significant developments in page rendering and customization.

With the Openwave Phone Suite V7 Siemens will be able to deliver differentiated and uniquely integrated user experiences that drive adoption of advanced data services. The company plans to utilize Openwave Phone Suite V7 in its Siemens 65 series of handsets scheduled to ship in Europe in the middle of this year.

Openwave Systems Inc. is a leading provider of open software products and services for the communications industry. According to Rob Williams, general manager of the client product group at Openwave, "It is fitting that an innovator like Siemens would lead the market by bringing this advanced browsing technology into its portfolio."
