Sony Ericsson C905 - user opinions and reviews

After nearly three years with this phone, I'm an extremely happy user. The camera is high-quality and has all the functions of a regular camera.
However, recently my phone's speaker (the one that you listen to your calls from if you're phone's not on speakerphone) hasn't been working. Turns out it's a common problem with this phone, and relates to the connection of the "c" button under the "end call" key...Now I need to answer all my calls on a Bluetooth or on speakerphone.

C905 is outdated and fragile but till now unbeatable. Almost all java apps and flash themes working perfectly (for example SE Zilo drive back many apps and themes if somebody try those install). Good camera have xenon flash (very important for me), macro, lens cover, quick handling. Look stylish. Have multitasking and copy-paste, GPS, radio, Wi-Fi, 3,5G, good gaming and music listening.

GigaCentimo, 10 Jan 2011got mine for P15k. in today's new surge of mobile technology, c905 is just not worth it. it's ... moreah you bought your c905 way too expensive way back in november it costs around 11k plus. . digicams worth 12k which have 12 megapixels are expensive the sony cyber-shot s2100 costs way back 8k but it lacks good lens optics

This is awesome! Good wifi reception..im using it 2yrs up to n0w..smooth as new,i even using it as camera rather than my digicam!
Amazing clarity of image!

this is the wrost phone SE ever made
First, didn't hear from earpice
then replaced flex, few weeks after, LCD display fault. GPS not working anymore, again and again lot of problems
Don't buy this phone.

Two years from now, the phones that just came out recently will be outdated also. C905 is a really good phone if you get one that was manufactured after they put more focus on the build quality.

smiley, 07 Jan 2011thanks for the reply, i really want this eversince, but yeah its really expensive, how much yo... moregot mine for P15k. in today's new surge of mobile technology, c905 is just not worth it. it's too outdated. the camera's great, i have to admit, but you can get a 12mp digicam for P10k now, and it comes with optical zoom. one thing's for sure about all around devices: if your phone gets knocked out cold, all the other features also get sent to kingdom come. so you might as well shift your perceptions about "be-all, do-all" phones. just an advice. :D

very bad,after 1 month many problem will happen,like specker not work,the function used very slow.

C905 is much better than ELM. ELM's camera very poor in low light. there are blue/red line issue with ELM Camera.
C905's Display is very good. while ELM's display is dim & faint.

Great phone. awsome camera. that can beat Digicam.
Flex problem does not come with early models.

My phone's GPS not working after 3 months. it doesn't detect any satelites now. sometimes speaker stops working.
J20i Hazel is better than this phone.
