i am using t610 from last 1 month and its working fine i try sending picture and ringtone to nokia via infared but not possible i think its not comatiable with nokia ??????????????
Thanks for the reply buddy. I am will try and get the bluetooth adapter soon. I noticed a small flaw today, the screen flickers when Idle ?
Also, I tried sending a picture and a ringtone from the T610 to my Nokia phones and it failed. I believe the IR is on the top part of the phone ? What am I doing wrong ?
Thanks in advance.
Go to that site.. combine the address together...
All the extras the 7250i has over the 7250 are already standards in the T610.
Better connectivity (actually sends stuff via IR)
Better picture phonebook
Better built quality.
Things the 7250i is better at.
Camera can be argued to be better. But slightly.
About T610's memory issue.
If you have a Bluetooth enable PDA, there is not Memory issue then.
Just keep sending stuff to the PDA via bluetooth. No software required.
if anyone can help, im after some advice on which handset to get the T610 or 7250i.
I dont need to bull like 'oh i fink da T610's da bom' or 'it looks like a brick. i think they both look pretty sweed to me. After opinions on whic h will perform better from camera function or memory etc.
your help would be much appreciated.
thanks!, i do hope ure not confussing the sl55 with the st55. please confirm your not. so the picture on the t610 is not good, like that on 3650 or v200?, does it come close?. what phone would you advise i get anyway?.
i'm open to ideas anybody.
Camera, the 3650 has a larger lense which produces better images. The T610's camera isn't very good. Can still see what you're taking and all, but not the best.
About screen being hard to see under sunlight, it's harder than usual.. but not impossible.. can be seen...
First time might seem very hard.. but you'll get used to it.. now I see mine easily under the sun.. no problems...
About the T610 vs the ST55...
First, to shed some light about the ST55 and if anyone is assuming it's like other siemens phone.. it isn't.. It's created by some other manufacturer but only bearing the Siemens name... that's why it's design is so different from the original Siemens product line..
The ST55 has a better screen (TFT) and higher res camera (640x480)...
The menu on the ST55 is very plain. Compare the menu of the ST55 to the T610 and you'll see what I mean.. for a TFT screen, should have better use of screen...
No Java.. no IR.. no Bluetooth.. only way to transfer data is via Cable..
Memory not dynamic... you think the T610's 2mb is small. .this is smaller
I was going to get the SIEMENS ST55......Im so glad I didnt...the concept of the SIEMENS ST55 is nice but the design of it is as good as it gets. I had a demo in the orange phone shop and it wasnt really that great (technical wise)...No Bluetooth...No Infared...No built in camera..the keypads are really small and unless u have tiny fingers you will find it hard to write text messages. What i do like about the phone is sliding front...nice. The picture quality is really poor..looks like more 256 colours thats its 4056 which i think it has.
The T610 on the otherhand is just so much better. Thats all you need to know!
is the camera as good as a nokia 3650?i hear a lot of people also complain that in sunlight they can't see the screen...
Whether DMX can answer it? Go DMX, go. Give your best. A neutral and objective connoisseur of the T610 =)
you seem to know much about this phone. please can you help me, i'm torn b/w siemens st55 & s/ericssom t610. which one has a better picture output and which can i download pictures easily from. anyother details will help. please be objective. i live in nigeria and we have a lot of issues with phones. any other person can help too.
I live in israel and i can't buy this phone here.
I want more information...
Beth, I guess those moaning must be from anti-SE people.
It isn't large at all. About the size of the T68i and 7250i. Actually smaller than the 7250i.
I think it's quiet a nice phone.. suits both girls and guys... if you want a brick.. look at the P800 and 9210i =P
i have read loads of moaning about the size of this phone and how it is just a brick. So i popped into a mobile hand store to see it for myself, i would just like to say that i am girl and i could get this phone into my jeans pockets no probs it isnt big at all!!
So much for Thailand.. that's why!..
Should had made it in Malaysia or China.. better work-man-ship =)..
There are three ways you could get data from the phone to the computer.
-Cable (will only work for Sony Ericsson and Ericsson phones)
-IR Port (can work for other devices, but needs Line of Sight and slow)
-Bluetooth (better alternative, both fast and freedom to move)
I reccomend using an USB Bluetooth Adapter... I'm using one now by Billionton, works great. Can get files from my computer using my phone without even having to touch the computer.
Simple 'Click & Drag' function. You want a theme, click and drag it into the phone and it'll be transfered.
Consumer recall alert.
"Sony Ericsson has identified a fault with one of its UK 3-pin CST-13 phone chargers and, as a precautionary measure, has activated a process to have all potentially failing units returned. The charger is manufactured in Thailand by Delta, an external supplier, and has the identification number BML 162 099/3 R1A printed on the socket face, along with "made in Thailand by Delta".
The charger has been included with the following Sony Ericsson phone models in the United Kingdom: T68i, T300, T310, T610 and a number of Bluetooth handsfree and other Sony Ericsson accessories.
The charger has also been sold separately..."
Bought it! I am still trying to get used to the functions as I am used to the Nokia. Nice phone and features. Just bought it and have yet to find a fault. I think this would be the best phone at the moment.
PS: What cables do I need to upload themes, pictures etc to the phone ?
