Sony goes transparent with PS5 Prism Collection

Sony announced its Prism Collection DualSense 5 controllers and console cover plates. They come in three bold colors: Flare Orange, Emerald Green, and Graphite Gray.

The new accessories feature transparent elements that showcase part of their internals. The top halves of the plates reveal the console’s fan, while the controllers are even more striking, as you get to see all of their key components and switches.

The accompanying press release does not specify whether the console covers will be compatible with all PS5 models or just the newer Slim and Pro models.

The Prism Collection DualSense wireless controllers are priced at $85/€85/£75, while the console covers are going for $75/€75/£65. Pre-orders start on November 10, 2026 but open sales are scheduled for February 4, 2027.
