Mobilemaster, 19 Dec 2014What's your problem? I am going to tell it again:We don't need 4 GB of RAM on smart phones yet... moreThis people are not stupid Dude, forget about what Samsung do or offer. Leave the fact that you are a Samsung's fan and come to the basics of a 64-bit functionality.
It's seems that you don't know the difference between the 32-bit and the 64-bit CPU architecture and functionality.
The Snapdragon 810 CPU with 64-bit fonction allows the system to handle more storage space for Ram for better performance as RAM mean Random Access Memory (informations doesn't stay like in the ROM). So, with a bigger system than the 32-bit, the phone will perform much better on tags like gaming, multiple touch...
While the 32-bit is limited to max the ram at 3Gb or 4Gb ram, the 64 bit does more and better overall in functionality.
The bottom line is that the apps of 32-bit can be handled by the 64-bit while the 32-bit apps will never handle the 64-bit apps. Even the iPhone 6 will net be able to run the full potential of the 64-bit.
price will be around 60k...sony is third grade i have used Z1 worst experience i got...giving 60k also for sony is waste
used to be a big fan of sony,,,but after using z,z1,z2,z3,z3 compact i ve decided no buy sony phone again...all these phones have absolutely pathetic call quality..
Yet another premium flagship comes to play by one of oldest players out there. But question is, will we get our mind blown? Or will Sony fall deeper into the pit itself created.
Only time will tell but looking at the specs-sheet, hardware as it is to be expected coming prepared for 2015. Like the old saying goes, its not the best ingredients that matters but the skillfulness of the one preparing the dish. Same goes.
From my perspective, Sony DO have one of the best recipe, sealed in a waterproof package but how will the chef this time around, prepare it? Hmmm...
Mobilemaster, 19 Dec 2014What's your problem? I am going to tell it again:We don't need 4 GB of RAM on smart phones yet... moreGimme a break... 2GB RAM on Android and they closes and reloads browser tabs like crazy, and also dont forget how Galaxy S5 lost the multitasking test to iPhone 6 with 1GB.
And also important, a modern linux kernel can utilize ANY amount of RAM you throw at it and it has been like that for very many years but it wasnt until KitKat that many Android flavors started taking advantage of it.
The only problem with lots of RAM is power consumption but LPDDR4 should help a lot. Personally i would love to see something ala PS Vita, with dedicated GDDR RAM for the GPU to increase bandwidth and then they would free up enough system RAM to make 3 or 2GB more acceptable in the process

[deleted post]What's your problem? I am going to tell it again:We don't need 4 GB of RAM on smart phones yet. Samsung knows what to do. Anyway maybe Note 5 will have 4 GB of RAM.
u cant judge yet, there are no specs for CPU and GPU! we will see later when they will release this phone, so.....
Mobilemaster, 19 Dec 2014I would have bought the G3 if the front of the phone would not be in black color. I hate black... moreThe color would be the last thing you should concern about, dude it states it got a 4GB Ram.. And it looks good.
