The Samsung Ativ S will be available and in stock in the UK starting tomorrow, December 13, while the Windows RT-running Ativ Tab could be bought on Friday.

The Ativ S became available in Austria yesterday and will soon come to Sweden as well.

Clove UK has priced the Ativ S at £442.80 with VAT included and the Ativ Tab at£538.80.

You can get the WP8 smartphone for less from Unlocked-Mobiles, where it costs £424.98 SIM-free. Currently, the phone can be pre-ordered but stock is expected to arrive tomorrow.

Finally, Phones4U has the Ativ S listed for pre-order with a Vodafone or O2 contract which lets you get the smartphone for £30 or even free. Expected delivery there is December 21.

The Samsung Ativ S shares the 4.8" Super AMOLED HD display, 8 MP camera, general apearance, etc. of the Galaxy S III but runs on a dual-core Krait processor. The Ativ Tab is a direct Surface RT competitor and runs Windows RT, features a 10.1" 1366 x 768 display and a dual-core Krait processor.
