Even though the ongoing pandemic has limited travel between borders, there will be 22,000 attendees (according to CNBC at a venue normally able to hold more than 65,000 spectators so tourism in the city is expected as people flock to the coastal Florida city.

T-Mobile is upgrading 5G capacity to prominent areas of Tampa including the Water Street downtown development, Julian B. Lnae Park, and on Tampa’s Riberwalk. Hyde Park, Ybor City, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, and Dade City will see the new spectrum light up as well. T-Mobile’s mid-band rollout includes spectrum acquired from Sprint on the 2.5GHz frequency.

T-Mobile deployed its rull range of 5G connectivity at the Raymond James Stadium. Low and mid-band spectrum, along with mmWave 5G. The latter is only supported by a small number of T-Mobile branded phones, the last of which was seemingly the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G.

Like subsequent years, T-Mobile will advertise during the Super Bowl. This year, a 30-secont commercial spot will run $5.5 million according to Bloomberg.
