Xiaomi Android

Following their global launch last month, the Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro have now made their way to the Chinese market with one major upgrade for the vanilla 17T. It gets the same 7,000mAh Si/C battery as the Pro model. For those keeping track at home, that’s a 500mAh boost compared to the global version. Charging is still capped at 67W.

Outside of the battery boost on the 17T, and the additional 16GB RAM option on the 17T Pro, the Chinese variants offer the same core specs as the international models.

The 17T gets a 6.59-inch AMOLED (FHD+120Hz) and a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chip paired with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. There’s a 50MP main cam alongside а 50MP periscope (5x optical zoom) and 12MP ultrawide lens.

You can read more about it in our detailed Xiaomi 17T review.

The 17T Pro is built around a 6.83-inch AMOLED (FHD+ 144Hz) and packs a Dimensity 9500 SoC alongside up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. The 17T Pro also features a larger main camera sensor (1/1.31") and up to 8K video recording.

For more details, check out our Xiaomi 17T Pro review.

Pricing for the Xiaomi 17T in China starts at CNY 2,999 ($443/€385 converted) for the 12/256GB version and tops out at CNY 3,499 ($517/€450 converted) for the 12/512GB trim.

The 17T Pro is going for CNY 3,999 ($591/€513 converted) in its 12/256GB config while the range-topping 16/512GB version is set at CNY 4,799 ($709/€616 converted).
