Xiaomi is hosting an event in China tomorrow where it will unveil the Mi 9 Pro and Mi Mix Alpha, and just a day before the unveiling, the company teased a 108MP camera which will likely feature on the Mi Mix Alpha.
Xiaomi's post on Weibo says "era of 100MP" (machine translated from Chinese), but it also mentions the 12,032 x 9,024 px resolution, which roughly translates to 108MP.
The post also includes an image with which Xiaomi's trying to show that even at 8x zoom, the picture retains nice details. But as you can see, the photo's captured in a well-lit environment, so we will reserve our judgment until we get our hands on a unit and test the camera ourselves.
