About number 3, yes you will still receive OTA updates even using the phone outside of China. China rom usually get updates faster than global rom.

I have three questions guys, hope you can help:
1. Would it make sense to move from Honor View 20 to this, or is it a downgrade? Specs seem on par but this has 5G (but lacks NFC which I never used so far)
2. Never bought a Chinese version of the phone, not interested in flashing ROMs. Would I have troubles using it without flashing? I understand I have to side-load Google apps, but I heard some apps like Netflix won't work (I rarely use it on mobile anyway, and if it works on the browser I think that'll do)
3. Is the Chinese version expected to receive Android upgrade over the air? I.e. Android 11 (I suppose that's MIUI 12)

just put dimensity 720 with 7000 mah battery in this and its the perfect phone!!!! no notch no front cameras, just triple rear cameras which flip in the front (no motors, we have fingers that can flip manually lol to keep price down) ultrawide, ultra zoom and macro. thats it and its the perfect phone!!!

I bought the phone recently. All in all it is a good phone. However there's some problems. First, I cannot install Netflix. Tried to find a way on google but nothing works so far. Second, the themes and fonts are in Chinese. There's no option for region so I cannot change it that way. If you have the phone and have succeeded in solving these problems, please share the info. Thank you.
