After 2 years, this phone slows like hell (barely usable).
This is probably due shitty hardware of this phone paired with latest MIUI updates...
Look, I can't even unlock the screen without hiccups here and there ☠️☠️ Multitasking is non-existent (especially with my unit, 2GB RAM lol)
I don't know how this phone heats up during charging like wtf this thing got like 10W support lmfao.
Don't get me wrong, the battery is still fine. In fact, on par SOT with my current new phone I'm using.
Skip this phone if you're thinking of using it, even as a secondary device.
Rest in electronic pieces, Redmi 9A.

Motorola 2013 every day. It has been working like new for 10 years. Redmi gets slower and slower over time. On the other hand, because of its powerful battery, it serves as my bicycle navigation and for recording GPS tracks for up to 8 hours a day.

Btw my wired microphone works well with other Redmi model and other phone model.

Regarding text freezing, I only use 3 apps on this phone. So, yeah the text freezing is a bit troublesome.

This phone did not support wired mic which is it did not detect when you were trying to record using CAMERA or LIVE stream. Also there were no setting to change the sound which user may choose to add on record with other device. Wired mic only work for recorder and screen record only.

You may record via CAMERA or LIVE stream using wireless mic. But since wireless mic is limit to hour of usage, I still find this phone model is lack to provide best experience to user.

A completely useless smartphone. I've been using this device for two years and it's an calvary. Apps randomly freeze and the screen becomes unresponsive out of the blue. When this happens I am forced to lock and unlock it to get it working again, it's just ridiculous. Please don't waste your money, a stab in the stomach hurts less than spending a single second using this torture device.
