hi everyone, please suggest me that which phone good for me.
(1) Nokia Lumia 730 &
(2)Xiaomi Redmi Note.
my budget is - INR 15,000.
I want good hardware & rich look with good BATTERY BACKUP (battery backup is most imp fector), good camera quality (I M not hardcore photographer), screen size range 4.7 inch to 5.5inch (does not matter screen size, only want battery backup), sometimes good gaming device, dual sim connectivity smartphone.
OS - Window / Android
does not matter either windows or android,
i want only good battery backup.
My choice is
(1) Xiaomi Redmi Note
(2) Nokia Lumia 730.
Management of battery backup on both device.
(1) Xiaomi Red I Note
14 hours - 3G internet browsing.
38 hours - 2G internet browsing.
60 hours - music playback.
775 hours (around 32 days) - stand by
(2) Nokia Lumia 730.
17 hours - 3G talk time.

09 hours - video playback.
8.5 hours - internet browsing [2G+3G].
10.5 hours - WiFi internet browsing

garylau, 13 Oct 2014How do you get it done from 500mb to 2gb ? upgrade? where can I do it.Sorry it's not possible. If you bought a cell phone with only 500mb ram memory you cannot upgrade it to 2 gigabytes. What is expandable (if available) is the external storage like in the Redmi Note you can insert up to 32gig micro SD memory card.

can't be able to move apps to SD card and that's an issue , a very big issue. I lost my stuffs in my phone storage only. That's hard for me , even tho I backed up but its no use ugh.

vignesh, 12 Oct 2014battery is dead.. pl don t buy this fone ,, 100% charge iw reduced in 2 to 3 hour .... fone sucks send back for warranty if under warranty

isn't the real ram is 2gb? according to the official website http://www.mi.com/en/redminote#param 1gb ram for 1,4ghz (standard edition) and 2gb ram for 1,7Ghz (enhanced edition)

gono, 11 Oct 2014its battery is so bad. if u not using phone then also battery going down. camera quality is ... moreNot sure if you're referring to the Redmi 1s or the Redmi Note but in my Redmi Note the battery is very good and long-lasting ; also, when the cell is not being used, my battery consumption is zero or just 1%. The key is to be aware which apps consume battery when not being used and to close or swipe it off when you're finished using the cell. Try this - open just one app then turn off your phone. Wait for around 10-15 minutes then open the phone - see if the battery % went down. If it did then this particular app consumes battery when it's idle so shut it down when not in use (example is Viber). Or, just press the close-all button before you off the phone. At night before sleeping I do this (phone is still on stand-by ready to receive emergency call or message) and if battery is 100% it goes to down to just 99% when I wake up in the morning. Hope this helps.
