You are absolutely correct, and that is the reason why I choose Redmi Note 7 instead of buying Nikon Coolpix.

Besides the great specification this phone makes me fail to buy because of the absence of deticated dual card slot (no deticated card slot ie 2 sim and extra micro sd card slot). Now im planning to buy samsung m20 or honor 8x very soon.

digital cameras have a big sensor wich is mean better result on low light, more zooming capabilites, better lenses.

Where is the Xiaomi stereo speakers and fast battery charging 27W ? And this 48MP camera, hahaha! Typical MIUI fashion. It's a real piece of chines garbage., just like Poco Moco Waka Maka Phone..

True experience. Guys I have laptop and Nikon Coolpix 16 MP camera and this phone. Believe me 48MP of this phone is not near to the quality of Nikon's 16 MP. Don't pay so high price only for camera. I Remember Nokia's Pureview 48MP and I really miss Nokia

Redmi Note 7 Pro will deliver proper 48MP snapshot with SD 675.
Snapdragon 675 is capable of doing "snapshot" @ 48MP, according to the specification. SD675 has been selected for Redmi Note 7 Pro precisely for that purpose. (SD710 and SD712 can't handle 48MP although they are more recent and more expensive additions to Snapdragon line-up.)
Here is the official language from Qualcomm website regarding SD675:
