It always take 2-3 months t... moreOne of the problem is shipment, the other is that the phone had to be assembled at the market's country to cut cost and also because regulations (some of the country have law that electronics must be assembled in that country, not to be shipped whole). One or two months delay since the release date is actually fast enough, considering the progress.

The specs is really attracting considering this is a mid range smart phone. I am also considering Huawei honor 10 or Huawei nova 4 if this phone takes too long to launch in Malaysia market.

Regi Epirotarum , 15 Feb 2019the global version has come out of the market ?Not yet. This is Xiaomi's typical problem. They are too slow. . It always take 2-3 months to launch in other countries. First China, second India, 3rd Indonesia, 4th ....Malaysia or Singapore.....one by one. The forgot that "the fire" might die down if they keep people waiting for months without assurance, esp if the competition from Realme, Oppo, Huawei, Vivo, Samsung makes their products available in the market faster.
People will not keep waiting for Xiaomi to arrive if a similar competitive product is already available from other companies.
