Xiaomi Redmi Android Rumors

Xiaomi is about to introduce the first 5G members of its Redmi lineup - the Redmi Note 9 5G and Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G. While the names haven’t been confirmed, multiple leaks are pointing towards a duo of Xiaomi midrangers with next-gen connectivity, four cameras and big batteries.

The mystery is said to end next Tuesday, November 24. That’s when the official launch is scheduled to take place in China, according to one leakster on Weibo.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 5G is likely to be powered by a Dimensity 800U chipset and will come with 5,000 mAh battery and a 48MP triple camera. The Pro will bring a mightier Snapdragon 750G chipset, more RAM, a 108MP main camera and plenty of color options - up to seven different paint jobs were certified.

According to the very same leakster, the regular Redmi Note 9 5G is going to start from CNY999 (about $150) while the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G will cost CNY1,499 (approximately $230). Whether these prices are right, we’ll know next week.
