the design of this phone is very beautiful,,,i love apple iphones soo much
Just to let y'all know, whilst the iPhone 5 is probably a decent phone, you can get a helluva lot more for a helluva lot less: HTC One X and Samsung Galaxy S3 are both cheaper by around £20 at least and are vastly superior phones, both in terms of benchmarking results, app cost and screen size, the S3 has an SD card slot and 50GB dropbox whilst the One X has ~30GB on board memory and 25GB dropbox.
Like I said, iPhones are not BAD by any means, they are fantastically reliable and look very nice, they are just madly overpriced for a phone that isn't even top of the range, especially considering the horribly limited customisation of a device that you pay £500+ for.
m buying
iphone 5 only because of its LOGOS and popularity and nothing special.
Anonymous, 19 Sep 2012On iOS 6, yes, iPhone 4S will get same features, it will be like an SGS2 getting an ICS update... morexllent explanation there, cant argue with that. So iOS 6's multitasking is limited as you were saying, music while web browsing or checking messages? These features were done by old phones ex. sony ericsson, nokia...
Nowadays most ppl needs more features specially in multitasking area, additional or upgraded tech in our new phone, not limiting users or consumers and expansion.
Apple did a good job on iOS without a doubt, interface is far better compared to android. Only thing holding me back to get an iphone is being a 'Limited' phone. Its a good looking phone but less tech inside (ex. no NFC nor radio,). Some new phones supports wireless charging.
Im used to looking at my phone with news, weather or update on families/friends straight away (widgets) without opening different apps just to view them all. Android do this and its good for me and Nokia might release a much better one (920).

Popular is just popular. That's it. Sometimes popular is because something is good. Sometimes popular is because of image. Sometimes, its just a mixture of both.
No point generalising, if you notice, the comment sections have taken a more intellectual tone, and people prefer arguing respectfully, regardless of Android or iOS fans. Why be a troll.
AnonD-71773, 19 Sep 2012As i've read somewhere... 4S will be getting iOS 6..so same app features as iphone 5?
How a... moreOn iOS 6, yes, iPhone 4S will get same features, it will be like an SGS2 getting an ICS update. If someone already has an SGS2, maybe there is less incentive to upgrade to SGS3, however, some may upgrade for the hardware improvements etc. Same with iPhone 5.
The multitasking on iOS vs Android isnt better on either side, merely different philosophy or approach. Practically, there is not much difference. iPhone goes the efficiency route, by using a suspension system, prioritizing the active app, while freezing others. It also allows simultaneous multitasking on certain apps, such as music while web browsing etc. The iPhone approach maximises battery life, while making system wide approach to software.
The Android approach is traditional multitasking which is basically simultaneous running of apps, regardless of active or in the background. While potentially draining on battery, Android ecosystem overcomes this through their philosophy of bigger batteries and higher CPU requirement to compensate.
In the end, while people debate endlessly on the theoretical aspects, to the end user, the effect is basically the same. One is using a smaller engine, but fine tuning it and the other is using muscle and bigger engines without having to optimise so much. If both cars get similar acceleration and speed, then the debate again becomes a theoretical exercise, and the preference is merely one of efficiency over power.
Hope this helps.
sim is verry litle

How about 'Multitasking' on this phone, can someone tell me if its good? And then compare it to Galaxy Note 2. Convince me.

OThe only people that really SHOULD be buying iPhones are people on Macs with iPads and heavy iTunes investment, otherwise it's just sheeping (following the masses with no real idea why; "oh everyone has an iPhone, that means they must be the best right?" -_-')
nothing new old features
giggle looks hilarious and so disproportionated lol
This is the best Iphone Yet as it has Siri improved, 4 inch screen is not bad, Good Picture Quality and voice quality on Facetime and Passbook is massive This is a Must Buy device but the ones who are saying that Iphone 4 was better no they all are you don't about specs really I have used Iphone 4S. In that Siri is too bad. Iphone 4 didn't have Siri only 4S had.
The Main Difference in Iphone 3GS and Iphone 4 (not 4S) is -
1. Facetime
2. Good Looks
3. Front Camera (for Facetime)
4S was far better than 3GS as it had Siri but this Iphone 5 is one of the best Iphones ever and ios 6 (Best OS)
and it has ARM 15 and is the first device to introduce it and Apple A6 Cortex Chip
Im getting this one for sure...

Iphone 5 - £529 16GB
Galaxy Note II - £546 16GB
