Nokia acknowledges Lumia 900 issues, offers a fix - read the full textNokia Lumia 900 has become available just recently and exclusively (for now) for AT&T in the USA. Unfortunately, some users reported inability to establish or loss of data connection. Often those people were cut off from the LTE network completely. Nokia’s response came rather quickly – the...

I think everybody should chill on this android iphone symbian windows...etc u guys get the point...none of u is winning anything...the iphone has a BIG Apple to back it up and has also just one high end device on the market worth buying(the 4S and maybe IPhone 4 as well)while for the android devices u got Sony Samsung HTC Motorola LG(u name it)IPhone has a history behind it including Steve Jobs while Android is just a Cool New thing in the market which is getting better by the day...To Wrap it up i think all of them suck because i can't find any reason why we all need a 4 inch BRICK in our pockets despite the name of it :)

> In reply to Jonas @ 2012-04-11 21:08 from mvDI - click to readHTC post a dramatic loss not because of powerhouse devices but because their devices are basically the same. ROFL sony has powerful devices? who are you kidding? Sony is just barely getting into the dual core devices when all manufacturers are already going quad core. Anything left to "question"?

> In reply to whatchasay @ 2012-04-11 20:55 from RbqJ - click to readIphone 4S isn't a power house? It uses an A5 Dualcore CPU which is pretty high end. It also uses the PowerVR 543MP2 which is currently the most powerful GPU out right now for a mobile device, sports 640x960 IPS panel which is amazing.

You're a fool to say that the Iphone 4S isn't a power house. Yes, the Ipad 2's resolution wasn't great, thats why they improved it in Ipad 3 and why the Ipad 3 is selling even hotter than the Ipad 2, like I said, customers want more specs for their money, even apple products need to be more powerful

Again look at Nokia's current Q1 2012 financial reports where they have abysmal sales, can't blame it on the fact that the Lumia 800 just barely started selling now can you?

You're not a fanboy? Your bias shows.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-04-11 17:51 from keqR - click to readFanboy? You don't know me so stop speculating. If specs mattered so much then the lower-spec iPhone 4s would not be outselling all the other higher-spec androids. On paper the galaxy s2 should be much better than the 4s yet the 4s sales puts the galaxy s2 to shame. The iPad2 had lower specs than most of the high end android tablets. Yet it still controlled 90% of sales. If specs are so important then why is apple selling so much? It's because the user experience is much more important than specs. Only fanboys care about specs. Android fanboys care about specs the most because their os is so inefficient. IOS > WP7> Android.

i am bored of android. i am also the one among many who are waiting for lumia 900 to arrive here in india. i am aware about restrictions of windows phone platform but it has advantage over android due to it. android is totally fragmented, updates are delayed by manufacturers and i am bored of flashing my phone every time with other ROMs. everything is becoming mess.

windows phone OS experience is totally different and lot more organized. and will be streamlined also with upcoming windows phone 8 and windows 8 for tablets/desktops. i am looking for it. my next device is surely windows.

Obviously these days high secifications matter, but WP 7.5 have hardware restrictions. SO what can Nokia do?(give me a example of Samsung phone having dual core processor, HD screen, 1080 video, etc)
wait for WP8, lot of restrictions will be over

> In reply to Whatchasay @ 2012-04-11 16:43 from 4$ve - click to readYou obviously don't know what consumers want. If consumers were fanboys like you then yes this would suffice; however, in this day and age where technology becomes quickly obsolete and outdated, high end specs are what matters. Success of Galaxy S flagship and Galaxy Notes, and iphone 4S and ipad 3 are proof of this fact. Even apple users are now spec hungry and want their next Iphone 5 device to be power houses. Also proof that specs do matter you will need to look at Nokia's Q1 12 financial report where they are reporting another operating LOSS, this includes Lumia 800 and Lumia 710 sales, barely selling 2 Million Lumia devices combined despite the fact that these are both really cheap handsets.

I don't actually like these kinds of politics with fixes.. I've been waiting for update for Lumia 710 call ending issue, but it's still not here. And Lumia 900 gets its update under a week. Fair game?

No usb mass storage
No micro sd
No Bluetooth file exchange
Lack of apps
No hd screen
Only few apps can handle on 512 ram
