Things like the Xoom were all outside Google's control, subject to contracts and deals that didn't involve Google. No matter how almighty Google can be, they must respect agreements from Motorola x third parties.

I am waiting for the next Motorola phones, I have owned Sony, Samsung and Motorola, all with android and I have enjoyed my Motorola Razr HD more than the others thanks to the better battery life almost twice as much as the others, I believe this is the most important feature, it is frustrating you cannot use your phone because it is out of battery.

> In reply to Droid Ghost @ 2013-04-19 12:53 from NpJx - click to readGoogle already has phones that receive updates faster and longer than most others, namely the Nexus series. If Google wants to show that they actually care about updates, they should provide them for all recent Motorola devices (let's say 2011 onwards) and not just some new Motorola superphone, which in practice may not be anything else than the next iteration of Nexus series.

I think I'm not gonna buy any phone right till their phone comes out ... If it solves all the issues they've mentioned, I'll try to be the first to get it ^_^ ... oh I can't wait!

Great, it seem that Sony and Moto are in the same page here-durability (not plastic-city or scratch-city) with Moto battery are better then the rest of the other makers - but all in all is how the device metabolism rate to consume the electricity.

Sounds weird coming from a man who's company's current flagship device is made of all-glass and shatters from a fall of a very small height. By the way, I own a Nexus 4 and am all for Google.

In But this year, Google will launch the first Moto phone which the are completly involved and even call it "Game Change" in the mobile industry.

Google said they will focus on software update as one of the priority by making the best device in the market. No matter how good Samsung, Sony, HTC or any company can be they can't be the combination of Motorola and Google.

Ha ha ha... Normally all this Samsung, Sony, HTC's would comment here and thanx Google to make than love their favorite company but some jealous people want come knowing the "Game is about to change" soon with the upcoming Moto "X phone".

This is more exciting for Motorola's fans than Google Android's fans. Some people are just Samsung's fan and congratulate Samsung for devices such the Galaxy Series S,Note, Ace... But doesn't understand that Android OS is the raison of the success.

Actually, the best devices are Samsung GS4, Sony Xperia Z, HTC One and the LG Optumis for those run Android OS than BB Z10 and iPhone 5 on the other platforms but still Android leading the Game on the OS without a phone in the market from Motorola but this wan't take long.

Here, Google report same upcoming phones from Moto no matter Moto did post some lost, Google remind positif with those upcoming Moto phones and nail down the durability and battery lasting of those upcoming phones, knowing that rumors saying that the software will be something we have never seen before on any phone.

As Motorola and Google fan, I'm excited and waiting calmly for the X phone to show the real Motorola potantial on hardware conbine with the best Software maker to blow out the rest of the phone's companies in the market.

The Ghost soon in the market...

> In reply to supergeek @ 2013-04-19 11:38 from iFrr - click to readMotorola is very US focused. I own the Xoom 2 ME tablet (Xyboard 8.2 in the US) and they are not even going to update it to Jelly Bean in Europe (it received one major update from 3.2 to 4.0.4). It's a less than 18 months old product from a company owned by Google. Makes Google's griping about Android manufacturers not updating their phones seem quite hypocritical.

Going international is the only way to beat samsung and rise, what's the point in making the best smartphone in the world then offer it in 1 market!

Almost all current and old motorola phones are made for U.S networks.
