People, i have this phone and have been using for the last two years...

Pros:
Battery life is great!!
Handy Flash Light which is Very use full.
Good display..Good resolution..
The speaker is good.Can hear the other person loud and very clearly.

Cons:
If your alot into texting, then DONT buy this phone..the keypad is not good.It is not user friendly at all..its realy hard to text on this phone.. Its sort of a rubber keypad..

12345 security code doesn't work... haaaayyysst

My phone turned off, then a security code is being asked... settings were untouched but any security code doesn't work... anyone know the solution to this?

A user of 1650 since Jan 2008. Phone working reasonably well, except that the battery life seems to be gradually getting shorter and shorter. Currently able to standby phone (with minimal talk) for 13 days maximum without charge (previously >15 days). FM radio is disappointingly mono and soft, comes with internal speaker. Buttons too small for comfort. Good phone for the elderly or budget-conscious.

I am using Nokia 1650, in my mobile if i select the ringtone then switch of the mobile. then restart mobile it ask enter security code.i enter 12345 then it is accepted but it did not have any ringtones.if select ring tones it will be switched off.

1)how can i remove this problem?
2)what is this problem and what is the solution for this problem ?

please give any suggestions

im planning to buy this phone.. but i want to ask some more details :
1. are there any profiles in this phone?
2. is the phone interface slow or fast?
3. is there keypad lock with password?

I am using this mobile phone for more then a 2 years
and the good thing about it is its long life battery also very simple to use, the light at the top of the phone is very useful.
so many time it fall on the ground(I put cover on it) and nothing happened for it at all and still no problem with it.
the only thing bad about it is the keypad of the mobile, good for women but not for mens.

Setting steps : Menu->Settings->Enhancement settings->Headset->Automatic answer->On

This feature will be working only when the earphone jack is pluged as you did.

NOTE : Auto answer will NOT activated soon after the call received to your phone but after few rings.

it is avery gud phone besides of its restrivted memory

it is the best one which i have used. user frndly..it lasts longer even though i handle it very harsh.

I tried using Auto answer mode, which is available as an option in the Enhanced settings. However, even after connecting external mike/headphone,the phone does not answer automatically.

Can any one suggest a solution?
