Yes mr N91.I grabbed the holy hell out of that review and proud to say N91 beats da hell out of nokia n95. Now I am quite relieved and plan to buy N91 8 GB as my first prior is music, NOT THAT -------.YEAH BABY!

Pappy I Guess y are obsessed wid n91 coz y talk and guard only n91 in nokia discussions,why?me n el loco also have it and love it but we also help other model users. Why don y!lol.

1) Memory Full - yes you get that with the browser. Use Opera Mini (download for free).

Also for HDD not avaialable (due to some 3rd party applicatons getting screwed up)
a) Battery cover - HDD unavailable or in use another tip
[*] turn off the phone
[*]Removed back cover
[*]Restarted phone
[*]after restarting put the back cover
[*]format hard disk

To person with dead phone after no alarm.
The NSu does not kill phones. I have used NSU (and finally upgraded my wifes N91 to 2.20) and its fine. There have been some rare problems of failing during the upgrade (ie proces interrupted) but then the service centre will upgrade the SW for free.
In your case it sounds even more weird. The Upgrade was successful (so there was no failure). It sounds like you went to sleep the battery went dead and now it wount charge (or even recognize the charger with the little "charging" bars).
Have you tried poping the battery out and putting it back in again? Is your charger ok?
Is the connector to the charger on the N91 ok?

They can say what they want but the 5700 is made by Nokia's Mobile Phones division (low cost, high volume sales, not high end)..nit their Multimedia Division. They can call anyone of their standard chips and audio chip but it is not the same. I agree however that the next generation N91 is needed :)

It's only now that I've realized that after formatting both the phone memory and the hard drive, my Tutorial application contains no data anymore. :(

when i send a TXT message it takes at least a minute DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY ??? if anyone can help me thanks....im using Tmobile in the USA

I did a software update for Nokia N91 from ver 1 to ver 2.2, after the update the phone was working fine, however the alarm failed to go off the next morning and to my horror the phone was dead. The phone does not come on or show that it is charging, can anyone tell me how to get the phone back on again and working? The guys at Nokia said that an update via the internet should NOT be done to any phone as the software update kills the phone!There as a bug in the software. I have to send the phone away for repairs and it can take up to eight weeks. Icant wait that long. PLZ help!!

Too many software problems, not very happy with this phone. Also get "memory full" message constantly even though I had it upgraded twice. Very disappointed...

dont think so.Nokia clearly stated 5700 has dedicated audio chip.it has everythin to blow away n91 in every feature.N91 has to bring a massive change in its hdd,display and Ram,processor combination and nokia may not think to bring bout that change in n91 rather they revolunize their music edge through other model,even if it is not in 5700 then it might be other nseries phone.

Salut a tous,
today i wanna upgrade my n91,(with a 2.00.52 ver. yesterday i had 12 hangs!) however the last upgrade resulted to a dead phone,
but i cant format my hard drive since it is "not available",
whats the problem ???

Smart 2 Go. I had the same problem and it was not related to a sw update. I still have yet toget around to loading 2.20.
Try this. Dont use PC suite or download over the air to install but rather copy the SIS file to your HDD using USb mass storage drag and drop (I drop it in my "other" folder. Then use file manager on the N91 to clock on it and install.

So i've updated my fone with 2.20 & now my smart2go app doesn't load up anymore, it gets to 30-40% to loading the app & then it sez "it can not open application" & boots me back to the "my own" screen. So i tried to un-install it but it'll hang when it gets to 99.9% . i've tried to just re-install it then it'll tell me that i don't have enuff internal memory. I've cleared up than enuff space prior to the install.
I NEED HELP....
