I just don't know why plastic body is main disadvantage. I've got an unlock one and been enjoying the light weight. Of course, I've also seen a lot finger prints making the shinny, so-called luxury iPhone body look ugly.

What exactly is the difference between this phone and a SIM free phone bought at full price ?
Has AT&T crippled it in any way in the software with their branding ?

Are the shortcuts to missed calls/messages on the lockscreen available if you have a pin/passcode/pattern lock or just on the simple swipe (no security) lockscreen?

What do you mean by the 'cool feature where missed events (messages, calls etc) get their own unlock patterns'? Does this mean you can go straight into these apps from the lockscreen?

Why don't we ever hear about Bluetooth voice dialing in these reviews? It is the most significant hands-free feature that should be available for all mobile phones. The Captivate was crippled without it. Did it make it into the AT&T SGS II?

nice test. You forgot to mention loudness and music function. i'm also interested in the handsfree performance.

i have the euro version and the audio sucks.. just like this.. for a flagship phone they put terrrible audio chip in.. try recording at anything over talking level and all you get is noise.. shame on you samsung.. i am back to using my galaxy s (one) which has great audio once voodoo is installed.
