Can you tell which class GPRS and EDGE is N7100 based on?. Then you will come to know. Class 33 supports more speed than class 12.

FM radio might not be important to you or real important to me but it is obviously still important to a lot of people. Smart phones are meant to be chocked full of technology. Much of which the average user doesn't need but has the CHOICE if they want too!

You're short of telling us to get Symbian devices and stick with low speed frequencies so we get outstanding battery life.
Well, I happen to like using bigger high res screen, download speeds that are 10 times faster and a Wacom digitizer for my drawings.

I root to control and optimise, I carry an extra battery, I am power user, I download torrents, I only deal with 3.5G and LTE speeds giving me a realistic up to 2mbps. GPRS and Edge are like ancient.
Your tech antiquity arguments are silly. It's 2014.

Those who want radio can use a bluetooth headset with FM radio.
Radio is not a big issue.
Dear All, Kindly confirm how many of you use
a)2G GPRS now a days?
b)3G HSP Internet?
Your vote counts.

Kindly confirm the source where you said Galaxy Note 2 has GPRS Class 12.
Also clarify what this GPRS Class signifies for?
It is great... but would had been even better if samsung would had launched N9005 model in India other than its worth buying if you use it to maximum extent

TheNeighbor, 12 Mar 2014So, this is how you bait to argue about how good Symbian battery efficiency is..? LOL.
Andr... more'Did Symbian have apps that are currently popular in Android now that much more intuitive? That automate things for you in the background? Did you have stable and fast 3G/4G signals before?'
Yes. My Nokia N8 is class 33 based GPRS and EDGE and N7100 and most of the android phones are only class 12 based GPRS and EDGE. Then you can imaging how the speed will be (in strong coverage areas).
Yes. The software called x-plore by lonely cat games. I have profile switching software in Symbian (including switching to flight mode). I also have call recording and screenshot app in my Symbian phone. I was using profile scheduler+ in my N7100 successfully (when it was running android 4.1.2) where it can even turn the phone to flight mode at scheduled time. But the shameless google stopped the control of flight mode by third party apps since 4.3 version. What do you say for this?. Do not talk about rooting here.
Your response regarding exit option is not satisfying.
If you do not care about battery backup, then buy a laptop, it will give only 3 to 4 hours of battery backup. Looks like you do not even need battery. I think most laptops work in AC adaptor even when battery is not there OR buy 2 or 3 external betteries and carry with your device all the time like carrying a feeding bottle for babies. Carry on with this foolish idea.
Can you point a single android phone that has xenon flash, carl zeiss lens and FM transmitter?. I agree that there is no option to control display brightness in Symbian. Despite of this, Symbian phones rock in battery backup.
Already I have ended Symbian and Nokia discussion with parbinder. I want to end with everyone. Do not make me argue in favour of Symbian here. Understood?.
Simone, 12 Mar 2014Has anyone else experienced a problem with there data cable? I have had to change 2 in 11 week... moreWhat problem are you referring Simone, please specify.
I am sorry if I miss your last post in which you mention that.
MansoorAli, 12 Mar 2014Plzzz reply to this.If you are buying the note 3 this late I would advise that you rather wait for note 4 as it is just around the corner. But if you can't wait then note 3 still rocks. Just don't update it to kitkat.
Im glad I haven't updated my note 3 to kitkat, and I won't till all the glitches are fixed. However it is really taking long. Please work faster samsung.
Has anyone else experienced a problem with there data cable? I have had to change 2 in 11 weeks. Tell me why. Also if your improving on a phone why take away d radio function that was on the Note 2 and make the Note 3 radio less. That is wrong
