the camera ok is pretty impresive but the n95 is way better and so much faster at taking pictures. this phone has got some wicked things eg tilt sensitive and trackID which can be pretty fun,but you have to be very careful while taking pictures with the phone. iv had to do alot of sytem updates due to my phone slowing down and swithching off alot but if you switch your phone off once a day it reduces the amount of times it screws up dramaticaly.im not very impressed with the fact that thelights are not distributed evenly through the keypad it looks rather silly and if you switch the camera on and look at the lens wen it turns blue the lightis just as bad there.
Nokia fans are tooo Hyped up. nick for e.g. hes got the N95 and now hes talking about N82 to us lol
Nokia just make to many phones at one time, and nobody can keep up!
SE 4 Lyf!
SE do it nice and easy. SE just made 1 K850i for the 5MP Race!
Nokia got wrong the first time. so theyv improved the N95 3 times LOL with a result of a N82 which is basically a K850i in a Nokia suit.
SE 4 Lyf!
@ Sniper Supra
waddupp mate?
lotsa technical knowledge der.
neway, i agree wit u regarding da n95 and n82. dese nokia fanboi's r crazed up!
@ Manikandan
awesum pix bro.
Who is st_pid enough to buy an N82 to complement N95's lack of XENON flash.
St_pid idea (Unless of course if it's for collection purposes)
Might as well ditch the N95 for the N82. Or buy a cheap flashlight for the N95 (pretty st_pid looking though)
Doesn't Nokia have any extra flash accessory or something?
For that reason the K750 with MXE-flash add-on would win against the N95 in total darkness.
@Sam
that's what I call asynchronization. The best way to compensate (when converting files to Mp4 e.g.)is to minimize bit rate down to 500 or 700 (1000 would do sometimes) then minimize fame rate down from 25 fps or 15 fps (15 is optimized level)
If original video (to be converted) is at 30 fps then minimize bit rate down to 500 or 600.
^_^
Asynchronization is due to the delay in video when cpu speed decreases. In k850, it often happens during excessive autorotate, too much information (high bit rate, high frame rate), or when multitasking more than 3 to 4 heavy programs.
@Hayzel
yup. up to this moment the xenon flash control of the cam driver is not calibrated, IMO. it does not compensate the brightness of focus image and darkness of the surrounding, resulting in an overburn. R1CA037 has already fixed this problem but then again it appeared.
What I do to compensate for the overburn is to set the ISO level to minimum - ISO 100. it will darken out the image reception (less light sensitivity, and it adds good color reception). And a good distance from the focus image is greater than 4 or 5 inches.
Try to experiment a bit. ^_^
well okay exam night time photos, the n95 camera is better. but if you want the best night photos, get the n82!
u get the best of both worlds there
(apparently the n82 flash is brighter)
One thing i need to make clear
Why do People say K850 is the Worst K-Series Phone??
@Allan and nick
you 2 are forgetting about the XENON FLASH on K850i
it simply beats LED Flash.....even with close ups
my k850i's sound can't match the video. the sound always seem to be faster than the video itself. This happens with most of the videos i downloaded from youtube. anyone with this problem. is there anyway to fix this? Thanks
to anyone please...
my fon version is R1EA037. Pictures taken from my phone is too bright. i cant take close-up picture at night because of the too bright result. is it also one of the bugs on this version? what picture setting is the best. whether day time or night time... please... tnx again...
@sniper

Sony Ericsson K850i Review;
Sony Ericsson stems from the cooperation between Sony and Ericsson in the year 2001, a so-called joint venture. It is Sony's know-how on the field of digital cameras that is used for developing Sony-Ericsson's cell phones. Worldwide Sony Ericsson is ranked fourth on the mobile phone market. The company is positioned directly after Nokia, Samsung and Motorola with a market share of more than 9 percent.• Read our full Sony Ericsson K850i review. Sony Ericsson offers a number of different lines to meet the various market demands. For example the W-series, consisting of Walkman phones, aiming at the consumer who uses his cellular mainly as a music player besides making calls. As for the K-series where our test model sits, Sony Ericsson put the emphasis on the camera. The Sony Ericsson K850i has everything to become a real cameraphone, just as its predecessors only this time with a higher resolution digital camera. The Sony Ericsson K850i comes in a shiny black box. The shape of the camera's lens is shown on the box immediately emphasizing the main function of this cell phone: its 5.0 Megapixel digital camera. Upon opening the box there is a picture visible with a free space inside it to fit the mobile phone in. Underneath, separately wrapped, the battery charger, headset, data cable, manuals and software are found. The Sony Ericsson K850i has a beautiful and solid appearance. As mentioned before, the emphasis for the Sony Ericsson's K-series lies on the camera. The Sony Ericsson K850i has been equipped with a 5.0 Megapixel digital camera and makes quite nice pictures in various light circumstances. The right side of the cell phone carries the camera's on / off button. When the camera is activated, the lens cover will be removed automatically and the camera application gets started.

The light is messed up in a couple of shots. I agree!
Well, when rock took those foolish picture's of all his phone's with our name's in the background, i noticed our names were clearer with the picture taken with the n95, then the k850! Our name's were more fuzzy with the k850, even my wife noticed the same thing!
