xperia active Vs Defy+
I am confused between these two phones. basically i am butter hands drop everything.. so going for one of these rugged android.. ur suggestions please
Roy, 04 Nov 2011It does not have a front facing camera.. dats for sure coz m using it...U r right dude. It does not hav front facing camera. I too am using this mobile.
I love this phone!
I really dont want a clumpsy big screen phone, 3.7" is max for me, maybe 4" if i can still operate it with one hand, but I thought 3" was too small.. Until I tested it.
Ive compared it to the Defy (Defy+ is the same phone as Defy but with a bigger battery and overclocked processor!) and while the Defy has a bigger screen which makes typing more comfortable, the screen is almost useless in sunlight and the rubber protectors on the sides breaks easily, the screen itself easily gets shattered and the whole plastic of it made me go... NAAAAhhhh (and i didnt even mention the painful motoblur experience).
The Xperia Active however is full body aluminium, fantastic screen, good camera and, to me most important, FANTASTIC AUDIO (the Digital Audio Converter is awesome!)!
Ive had this phone for 3 weeks now and everything just works as it should, and the battery life is not sub-par as they say in this review.
I recommend this phone to everyone!
Abid_jsr, 04 Nov 2011 Yes, this phone has front facing camera. Most probably it has light sensor and other feature ... moreDude it dont hav front facing camera. It has ambient light sensor, status led and proximity sensor. Thats all.
Yes, this phone has front facing camera. Most probably it has light sensor and other feature along with secondary camera. Just see the large photo of this phone on this site. You'll be able to front facing camera just on the top right side of the phone.
Spase, 27 Oct 2011My son just got his active today from expansys.com.au he's into surfing n body boarding, so h... morepositive it has front camera?! i'm interested in buying this phone...does the website deliver to the philippines?
it has dragontrail glass. its as tough as gorilla glass. and its not vulnerable to scratches or breaking.
A review of this smartphone would be very much appreciated. Even before its official launch, I have been checking this site for some previews and reviews. Now that it's officially available, many of us are really interested into reading an in-depth analysis, given that the unit has "special" features.
asianguy, 23 Oct 2011dragontrail glass isn't as good as gorilla glass. xperia active phone can easily get scratches... morei just dont get it! this glass was announced to be used after the first of this year 2011..name the phones on which this glass is used and make a comparison..using your personal opinion to judge a product you have no clue about is just obsurd..do you even know the compounds used in regular screen glass without googling it?
Wow. It has just been a few hours that my love have given my present. An Active !
It looks far more elegant than what I thought. The most amazing thing is that it's so light. The touchscreen is really sensitive and handy. Despite the 3-inch screen, but it seems quite sufficient in size. No front camera unfortunately, but the rare camera is perfect. Xperia Active employing the 1Ghz Processor is very smart and rosponds so fast.
No doubt that it will utterly satisfy your needs.
