How is the compass of Arc S?
I am asking because i have an Xperia Pro and the compass is real bad, and its not only mine has the problem. Is it better on other Xperia series phones?
I have been the happy owner of an arc s since a few weeks. I must say that at the beginning i was not impressed by it.... I didn't like the case, i didn't like the widgets but zt the end of. The day it works well...the battery last for all day, the camera is nice and also the internet surfing is smooth. It is not the best on the market but i'm satisfied. Well done sony
guys lets admit the fact that "ARC S" is the hittie in the mobile world. "ARC S" is the hottest and sexiest phone so far. Cannot wait to get my hands on her ;)

or...did you treated your phone properly?
Hope that it can work well afterwards...

terrible phone hope sony can make it perform as good as it looks?
1. Very bad battery life, less than half a day
2. phone just go auto-power off for no freak reasons; missed couple of calls not realising the phone auto shut down...super intelligent.
3. battery gets very hot after charging for 30 minutes
4. wifi always unable to connect
looks good outside but bad inside
[deleted post]You pay for what is inside and out!
If it has front camera the price will be higher that it's release price. They know that not a lot of people use it frequently as so the absence of it is a part of strategy to reduce the price!
You look for front-camera-ready phone? Get another! You are greedy for the nice design of Arc? Take it. No perfect phone on the earth! If perfect phone exists, the all the factory will soon shut down!
Get the picture! Do not ever call somebody dump, silly!
Get your phone and get away!
Tom Rees, 11 Nov 2011I was expecting the GSII to have a better display, based on what I'd seen in the reviews. But ... morethis is 100% true!)But all the reviews paid by somebody says that superamoled is great!!!!))Yes it is good but reality display better!!!)
Sony Ericsson Is good in looks and style. They are prevalent in the market because of brand image and looks. If somebody cares about long lasting performance then go for Samsung galaxys, Nexus, HTC or the Moto. Sony Has a head turning effect but it will go off within a year because of subnormal hardware and performance. Those who prefer only looks SONY is the prince. But HTC is the king. Samsung the emperor.
disappointing fan!, 11 Nov 2011i don't understand, what's wrong with the design team? why did the keep leaving out the front ... moreNot everyone wants a front facing camera. Personally, I'd rather not pay for something I'll never use - especially if it takes up space in what is currently a slim and gorgeous phone.
th3D, 11 Nov 2011Whats so great about the display?? Even GSMARENAs test says "Display has poor viewing ang... moreI was expecting the GSII to have a better display, based on what I'd seen in the reviews. But what can I say - when I saw them side by side in the shop I much preferred the Xperia Arc S. The GSII display seemed lurid, too heavy on primary colours, while the Arc was better on softer shades and pastels. It also seems closer to the surface of the glass. I have it in my hand now, checking viewing angles, and they are pretty good. Videos are superb. It does fall down in bright sunlight, but I live in the UK, so that's rarely a problem for me :)
jf7, 11 Nov 2011how is the vibrate function on this phone , since you own it , is it strong enough? , so you c... moreThe vibrate seems fine. I actually don't use it for calls etc, but when I turn it up to max for feedback on the keyboard it seems pretty strong - there are propobably stronger ones out there though.
i don't understand, what's wrong with the design team? why did the keep leaving out the front camera. the only reason keep me from buying the Xperia Arc is the missing front camera, and now the Arc S came out, i was so excited but it made exactly same mistake, i don't get it!
