You continuous... moreOk let say P%nm developed a smartphone & you called it the ijunkies you sold 100 million in the first month.
Here come a another technology company by the name of Papple this company use your technology to develop a smartphone name sandroid & that product sold 105 million smartphone.
They should have payed your company $18.00 for the technology was used in each smartphone, you are telling me you will sit back & watch all of you hard work & cash go to a next company.

You really have absolutely no idea what you post about.
P%nm, 08 May 2010The only thing was proven in court is that Apple still had to pay Xerox to use it technology. ... moreApple didn't have to pay Xerox a cent in anything decided by any court ever.
You continuously post unrelated websites which aren't even links because you just make stuff up and have no real links to back up your fairy tales.
This is what happened:-
"The copyright lawsuit filed by Xerox Corp against Apple is dismissed by a Federal judge on Mar 23, 1990. Judge Vaughn R. Walker of the Federal District Court in San Francisco throws out five of six counts in Xerox's lawsuit, citing various reasons. Xerox's lawsuit sought more than $150 million in damages, asserting that the screen display of Apple's Macintosh microcomputer unlawfully uses copyrighted technology developed by Xerox. Even if Xerox prevails on the one count that remains, the company cannot win much because the judge has thrown out all counts seeking damages. Apple's lawyers are happy. Xerox plans an appeal."
Anonymous, 08 May 2010Huh? It's either you are licensed to use a patented technology, or you're not. It's as simple... moreAll patents & licensed technology have to be issue by the fcc & the ftc & the documents are all public records & must be presented to the public upon request under the freedom of information act, which is a US LAW.
Anonymous, 08 May 2010Licensed from Xerox as was proven in court. The only thing was proven in court is that Apple still had to pay Xerox to use it technology.

Anonymous, 08 May 2010Prove that Apple is using ANY Nokia technology at all.
That's up to the courts.I see you don't know anything about technology.
Gsm, 2,3,4g, LITE, wifi, umts, uma, s40 webkit & many more, not because it's universal you don't have to pat for it's use.
Go back to school & do your homework you just might be able to wiggle you way out of this cult you are in.
Oh no Apple have the rights to use every one technology without payment for it's use lol
You iphone users are all brainwashed by Steve Jobs
Anonymous, 08 May 2010Microsoft is the biggest loser by far in technology cases.
Apple and Nokia are small change... moreApple base technology core was developed by xerox.
And for you a lesson in history: Xerox had been founded in 1906 Apple did not exist at that time.
fridge, 06 May 2010I was once sceptical about the iphone, however after taking the plunge and getting a very good... moreThanks a lot i nearly got the answer i was looking after search of months. actually i was in a dilemma of choosing between Nokia E72 and iPhone3Gs, as many sites i browsed they all gave specs, today on this site i read that the optical navi key is a bit problem in E72 and then i thought i should better go for the iphone3Gs, yes ofcourse its double the price of E72 but its a one time buy and atleast we will use it for 3-4years. thanks fridge u cooled my thinking head.
[deleted post]Microsoft is the biggest loser by far in technology cases.
Apple and Nokia are small change in comparison to the huge settlements Microsoft have had to make to the EU and the US.
Nokia have dropped the ball, they can't compete and so they go whining to the courts like the babies they are.
They should harden up and develop their own tech, not try and blackmail Apple into giving them theirs.
[deleted post]Huh? It's either you are licensed to use a patented technology, or you're not. It's as simple as that. What makes it complicated is in figuring out which patented technologies you're licensed to use, and the scope of your licensed patented pool. None of us here knows exactly what licenses Apple has or its scope. Not even Nokia. For all we know, Nokia could be shooting at Apple with closed eyes and just hoping they could get something out of it. Or, could be that Nokia knows they can't get nothing out of this and they're just suing to give Apple a bad reputation. So I don't think any of us here can be certain whether or not Apple is guilty. We can only speculate.
FJT2, 08 May 2010You need to do your homework. When a company have been given patent to technology it means w... moreThere different types of patents. There's also what they call Patent Pools. Now do you know all the details of Apple's patent pools that they are licensed to use? Standard technologies are usually part of a patent pool. Unless you can list which patent pools Apple has been licensed to use, I don't think you're in the position to tell us which technology Apple has rights on. If Apple is licensed to use a patent pool that includes those technology that Nokia is suing Apple for, Nokia will lose. We're better off waiting and see what happens. Even lawmakers are having a hard time with patent rules and criteria, I don't think we can figure it out ourselves either. So let's just leave this to the court, ok.
Anonymous, 07 May 2010Yeah I read about that. Is Nokia running low on cash? Lol. I think Nokia just wants easy mo... moreIf upu think standard technology is as free why apple have htc in court?
Because standard technology is not free.
Anonymous, 07 May 2010Yeah I read about that. Is Nokia running low on cash? Lol. I think Nokia just wants easy mo... morePatent technology is not standard technology that's free every other company pay each other to their technology.
Anonymous, 07 May 2010Yeah I read about that. Is Nokia running low on cash? Lol. I think Nokia just wants easy mo... moreYou need to do your homework.
When a company have been given patent to technology it means whichever other companies use those companies need permission from the company that hold the patent rights to those technologies before the the technology could be use.
Universal standards don't mean that it's free.
