Asus ROG Phone 5 now available in the US

If you live in the US, you can now pick up the ROG Phone 5 straight from Asus online store (linked below) for $1,000. Asus is only selling the 16/256GB trim for now. The smartphone is unlocked and compatible with AT&T, T-Mobile and most MVNOs networks.

The ROG Phone is the latest iteration in the Asus gaming lineup and features a massive 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, the flagship Snapdragon 888 chipset and a 6,000 mAh battery with 65W charging. You also get mappable pressure sensitive Air Triggers touch areas and an RGB light panel on the back.
