I bought this phone in 2023 with android 11 and it worked so good but after android 12 update it doesn't produce quality photos like it took before the update

I am about to buy a Pixel 3a,I read as a solution for 64gb they gave unlimited google photos storage which doesn't count in storage limit. But at the same time I read few articles that they discontinued and photos uploaded there after jan 2022, ...
