Juho Sarvikas, HMD Global's CPO revealed the company's Android Pie update plans for the upcoming months. Juho just boasted on Twitter that the Nokia lineup were the fastest in moving to Android Oreo and that he hopes the switch to Pie will be completed in even shorter time.
So far, eight phones have received the Android 9.0 Pie update with the Nokia 8 and 8 Sirocco being the latest to join the list earlier this month. The Nokia 5 and 3.1 Plus are expected to get the new software version by the end of January while the Nokia 6, 5.1, 3.1 and 2.1 will receive before Q1 ends. The Nokia 3 and 1 owners will have to wait until early Q2 2019.
