Honor 30 Pro+ uses UFS3.0 for its storage. In a recent study (April-16-2020) of Storage Read-Write performance involving 10 top rated 2020 flagship smartphones (based on SD865 and Kirin990), Honor 30 Pro+ has achieved the best overall results, as follows:
1) Sustained read: 1905M/s; (#1 rated in this study.)
2) Sustained write: 1082M/s; (#1 rated in this study.)

According to the general manger at Sunning (one of top three online sellers, along with Alibaba and JD), the initial batch of phones came with all color choices available at about the same quantity. Since the first batch were sold immediately, most of the remaining orders are pre-orders that require a wait time of 1 week or more. Of those pre-orders, about 80% orders select Silver ("Space-Age-Silver" with the big branding 5-letter logo) as the choice of color. You can expect some kind of major reshuffle at the factory level as far as the color is concerned.

Based on the discussions in various forums related to this model, the color choice in highest demand is undoubtedly Silver (Space-Age-Silver), with the big branding logo.
It is loud and in-your-face. But it is not too loud, not too in-your-face. It is intentionally to be youthfully flamboyant, as explicitly stated in the original launch presentation, but in a form of "restrained flamboyance", not over the top. The back surface over the logo has a special kind of AG treatment, so that the diffraction angle of each individual letter in this 5-letter logo is unique. From most of the angles, you only see 3 or 4 letters out of the 5 letters. Only at certain angle, you will see all 5 letters in the logo. This is definitely a smartphone with an attitude and a personality, unlike any other smartphones of 2020.

One of the best selling points of Honor 30 Pro+ is its periscope 5x optical zoom. Very few phone-makers can make a periscope zoom work, even fewer can make a quality periscope zoom. It is important to know where Honor 30 Pro+ stands in terms of the quality of its periscope zoom.
Honor 30 Pro+ (101, rated by DX0Mark) has the 2nd best periscope zoom, only behind that of P40Pro (113, best rated by DX0Mark). It is better than that of P30Pro (95, rated by DX0Mark), far better than that of Samsung S20Ultra (88, lowest rated by DX0Mark).

dear friend mayb... morei know people they doesn't care to developing & amount of them aren't low, i'm sure there are alot of them out there
they just buy the phone with Android version, out of box.
you know what they said. when everything works so good on it. why we update it & we don't care for Root, Custom Rom & etc. there is alot of people even doesn't use Nfc, even with being Nfc on their phones.
i have friends they buy Iphone 6 from the beginning of release day & they never update it...At all
everything on it Works so good
for example when android 8, supporting All App & everything works so good on it & im satisfied with what i have & this android version will support all app for next 5 years, why update it to next.

you can call honor 30 pro is a telephone with many good option or features.
is really cute people when said amazing smart phone.
also this phones never have permission for export to other countries.

Honor 30 Pro+ offers 80% of P40Pro, and charges 80% of the price of P40Pro. If you choose P40Pro, you will have the best camera smartphone today. (P40Pro+ won't be available until late May.) But if you select Honor Pro+, you will have the 2nd best camera phone in your pocket. No losers here.
The extras offered by P40Pro:
1) Main camera:
P40Pro: 50MP IMX700 1/1.28" with OIS. (The best sensor for 2020 smartphones.)
Honor 30 Pro+: 50MP IMX700 1/1.28" without OIS.
2) 5X periscope optical zoom:
P40Pro: 12MP (RYYB), better sensor, larger diameter of the zoom. Amount of usable light is at least 150% of the light available to sensor on optical zoom of Honor 30 Pro+, a significant upgrade.
Honor 30 Pro+: 8MP sensor, comparable or better than the periscope zoom of P30Pro.

Honor 30 Pro+: 6.57", 1080 x 2340, 19.5:9 ratio (~392 ppi).
6) Styling and finish:
P40Pro: Quad-curved; More compact, 1mm narrower, 2mm shorter, because of quad-curved. Slightly more refined finish, especially in various details. (You have to see it up-close to notice.)
Honor 30 Pro+: 2-side curved;
7) Misc:
P40Pro: Additional security features (only meaningful for Chinese users.)
In conclusion, 2 best camera smartphones so far. I will select P40Pro over Honor 30 Pro+ because the upgrade is significant. This is another way of saying how far advanced P40Pro is compared to any other smartphones released so far.
