Honor Android

After Huawei sold Honor to Shenzhen Zhixin New Information Technology Co., Ltd., it was made clear that this wouldn't affect Honor's brand direction and overall vision of its future products. Even the CEO and senior manager remained the same.

However, there are some administrative procedures that need to be taken care of before Honor finally becomes and independent brand and when it happens, George Zhao, the company's CEO, promises an immediate launch of a phone. He also thanks to all the fans of the brand in an open letter.

Honor CEO promises an immediate smartphone launch after company independence

It's probably safe to assume that George Zhao is talking about the Honor V40-series given the leaks of the phones for the last couple of weeks. And as per these reports, the V40 family is supposed to arrive sometime in January 2021.

The only Google spyware that was pre-installed on Huawei phones were Google stuff so I fail to see the issue on the phone side, the 5G towers on the other hand we can argue is a security threat... :|
