In HTC Phones you have to scroll down to see the apps on your mobile instead of swyping left to right. Is there any settings using which this problem of HTC can be sorted out and the apps can be swyped from left to right likw in all others Android phones.

sanju, 12 Jul 2014another use and through product after m8.Both devices are very very tough to repaire.Sanju plz checkout my earlier comments on repair of HTC ONE M8. If at all you handover these premium phones to a local guy, they will simply shatter you. But once you give it to the authorized service center, they will return your stuff in fully working condition with all cosmetics retained.
Trust HTC they are simply excellent workmen.

[deleted post]Higher prices are usually associated with higher costs to do business in a particular country (ie. import taxes, legal, approval, licensing , and corporate tax costs to sell in the country). Obviously India these costs are higher for foreign firms because the government probably wants to give a home turf advantage to local manufacturers like Micromax, who I absolutely despise.
Because HTC's are manufactured in China, they're probably getting a tax break from the Chinese government to sell them in China. And oil rich Dubai has some of the lowest taxes in the world. India simply cannot compete with these incentives.
The fault lies with your government's import/corporate tax policies, not HTC.
