This phones does terrible in battery reviews. Techradar and Engadget both talk about how bad the battery is. When will GSM post the review? Its out on this week!
The Sense interface with nice edges
High Quality with rich looking
Thats why we like Quality Not Quantity :)
That's why we say HTC is Quality Brilliant :)
htc will beat all smart phone after launching this even s3 or i phone 5 or xperia s...........
even samsung sII is better than this due to its low cost and great performence.......
battery should be great . features are nice but wat about battery life anyone knws....... i think battery life would be 6 to 8 hrs that will be average bt not good enough
last few days days i havr recieved dempnstrations on this product it is in doubt the best and fastest htc yet
Non-removable battery seems irrational.
I don't understand why this HTC flagship cannot come with removable battery. I do not know what is the market preference, maybe more people prefer non-removable battery.
I certainly need another battery with 1800mah. I guess it is not going to last long on automatic brightness and 3G continuously on, correct me if I am wrong. I don't want to buy a phone with a gorgeous display only to turn the brightness to 50% all the time. The battery is the only thing holding me back from buying this phone.
For those for bought this phone, may I know what is the battery life on a typical day usage with automatic brightness, a couple of calls and messages, 3G email sync switched on?
I see from some some youtube videos that recording sound above normal levels Once again the sound recorded is cheap sounding & tinny, what is wrong with HTC almost every phone they make has the same cheap tinny sound recording. You could never use a HTC phone to record a concert, the sound is unbearable. Which is a shame.

Currently HTC ONE series is looking pretty and obvious it have logic too. But i will go for HTC One series coz HTC known for the best touch screens. After Apple this comes the best User exerience in the Industry.
AnonD-33785, 02 Apr 2012i just want to see how bad galaxy S3 performs in front of this monster and upcoming Iphone. Sa... morewell well. thats is 100 % right. samsung has poorest built quality of all phones. damn all plastic body with similar features. and touch wiz sucks.. where as HTC SENSE IS THE BEST UI i ve used in any phone. its smooth and really makes sense. and yes htc has the BEST BUILT QUALITY. IM LOOKING FOR ONE X. its gna b the best of all phones...
I think people are getting ahead of themselves, or caught up, with the CPU specs.
This phone has A9 quad core, this is faster than the already impressive A9 dual core from what I understand.
Also, the S3 in dual core, apparently is faster than the A9 quad core? But is this right? The tests of the S3 are on a phone that is not running the super high res screen like the one X. So how can you compare?
If you know from PC use, when you play games at 640x480 its a lot less than playing at 1920x1080.
So why are people discounting this on phones?
Clearly, running a 1280x720 screen compared to a 1st gen resolution of 480x800, its just in another league and will yield skewed results depending on how you are looking at it.
Now when the SGS3 comes out I believe it will be the performance king again, just like my old SGS2 was. But that does not mean it will be the best phone to everyone, because I can say now I didn't think the last one was.
The HTC feels nice, looks nice, and is overkill spec wise anyway. Its beautiful phone, and will be for the rest of 2012.
You want bragging rights for quadrant? wait for the SGS3.. or better yet, buy an Alienware and post 3Dmark scores! Just don't expect the SGS3 to be the best made phone or have a beautiful Use Interface.
AnonD-45869, 03 Apr 2012Who's bashing who here? HTC has a better user experience than, well anyone. And as far as I ca... moreCustomer satisfaction is great...check out A.J.D power survey of mobile companies for customer satisfaction...HTC managed 2nd(after apple) despite such a low market share....well its good for us(htc users)...atleast we are unique and not one of those every 2nd person holding s2 or apple...lolzzz
totally agree with phone maniac.....my brother's Evo 3d is a lot better then S2 in real life usage....sammy is hanging by just installing somewhat 10-15 little apps....huh.....(XDA- Benchmarks tell a different story that may not always be true.Real usage is much different)....so even if S2 scored better then previous HTC phones or S3 will outperform this, then also samsung wont be able to provide the quality and satisfaction of HTC.....well S3 is not even out so why are we talking about it....this is awsum and has everything:)

HTC has a better user experience than, well anyone. And as far as I can tell, the Tegra3 outperforms any chip today, even the S4 krait. The One S has "better" benchmarks because it has almost half the pixels than One X has - and benchmarked One XL is much slower than the Tegra3 version.. Samsung can have their phone of the year next year... 2012 is HTC's and the One x is the king of the hill. And I hope that they focus on tabs for the septemers Berlin unvail and new phones next year. That would make the phones retain higher value and better customer satisfaction.
reading all comments make me laugh as if there a war between this fon and d upcoming s3, there creating an argument and comparison base on s3 in which not even a prototype exist. LOL,,, why cant they not accept the fact that this beats d s2 and nexus and currently d best android fon up to date,. and YEEAH probably d s3 will be better when it comes out so good for samsung, hopefully its not made of plastic as again, and would probaly better if they remake there UI or rather let it be plain android ics like d nexus

Mr.RodriTihuana, I just have one question. I want to know in which way does the above said Cortex A15 S3 can beat One X?
Of course Cortex A15 is the best in performance but have you seen the reviews about the One X? I'm sure in benchmarks the cortex A15 processor can beat One X but what about in real life usage? The One X's UI is smooth like butter, camera is ultra fast as well as browser, zooming pictures, scrolling through panels, gaming and everything. how can anything be faster than this?I cant even imagine. Its like a Windows 7 PC running on a 6 Core CPU and 10GB RAM. We wont feel any difference. Its just numbers. Cortex A15 is faster than A9 but we humans cannot feel any difference. We are buying these phones not for benchmark results, it is the real life usage that matters.
