Huawei Android Rumors

The Huawei P30 family is set to launch next week in Paris but the leaks continue to come in hot. The latest one is a hands-on video showing off the front of the P30 Pro and the under-display fingerprint reader.

As you can see, everything is in line with the previous reports but it was cool to see how fast the in-display scanner works. It looks as if there could be a new unlocking speed champion. The guy on the video put his finger on the screen for a brief second - or even less - and the device unlocked instantaneously.

At this point, we don't know if Huawei is using an optic fingerprint reader or one of Qualcomm's ultrasonic units that we've seen in the Galaxy S10 and S10+. We will find out next week when the phone goes official.

The camera bump is there because it will use an actual large sensor and good optics to back it up. S10's main camera clearly shows why you shouldn't sacrifice the lens quality for thinness.

But then the screen is woke up everytime you take your phone to look at the glance screen which consumme less energy. Thank you for your answer! Dedicated fingerprint sensor look far more practical for me. No need for a work-around to get it wor...
