LG has committed to fix the bootloop problem, if it occurs even past the warranty period. If they did not do this, no one would ever buy an LG product, if they did any research. Look at what Samsung is doing with the S7 note.
I have had almost every reported issue with my LG G4 since I purchased it a year ago. First it was the bootloop (which was covered under warranty). Next was some touchscreen issue where the phone refuses to "wake up" no matter what I do; tap, swipe, power button, etc. I have found the fastest way to get the screen on is to plug in the power supply or pull the battery and restart. Now I am dealing with a new issue where I get the prompt's "unfortunately, camera has stopped" and/or "unfortunately, call has stopped". No telling what else will go wrong before I can upgrade through Sprint!
I've tried factory resets, firmware updates, safe mode startups, stopping the problem apps and clearing system cache's, and anything else I have been advised to do only to realize that this phone has a mind of it's own.
Needless to say, this will be my last LG product. I had a LG G3 prior that had touchscreen issues. I was hoping that all was worked out on the G4, but apparently not.
I'll buy a phone later or tomorrow and LG G4 is one of my choices, what serial no. should I get? What do I have to check or consider before buying it? Please help
How do I change the settings for incoming calls, I don't know who is calling me, always shows "unknown"
Even the 2016 models of G4 are facing bootloop problems. Check on reddit.

But with the boothloop issues that clouds the G4. . I was prompted to read more user reviews. They say September 2015 units with HARDWARE revision 1.0 were commonly having boothloops. Succeeding units were safe from it. After reading your review. . I am now hesitant again..
