bond bd, 20 Oct 2013We want to purchase nexus phone but its price is too high for us. We want 100$ or 150$ mobile ... moreMannn shut up. If you want to get a 200 dollar phone just get the Nexus 4 8/16GB while you can.
I just hate the fact that the prices are just big for these Nexus phones (although everywhere it states that they are cheap for what can do). In The Netherlands Nexus 4 was 500 euro the cheapest one in...February 2013. I mean, NO! Will buy it for the price stated on GSMArena plus/minus 50 euro. And now I see here 260 euro for the 16 Gb version - cool, wait, it will probably be 600 here. Awesome! Consider the fact that any other phone has the price on GSMArena.
k so the play store showed $349 for the 16gb model...so i guess it will be @ the same price here in India as Nexus 4... m getting excited, this is my next and first android Phone :) :)
If you're going to put in a non-removable battery at least make it about 3500 MAH, and no expansion card?
if memory card option is absent then USB on-the-go must be present.
MOBILEMAN, 20 Oct 2013I hate the non renovable battery, it sooo limited...and i cant imagine a cellphone without a c... moreAs far as I know, it is a Google phone which means, user should use Google Drive to expand its memory. It's a technique from Google to rely on cloud.
What are you doing google ?! Are 30 gigabyte of ram enough or need 300 gigabyte ?!! Dont wory maybe your os teacher is microsoft !! This is gigabyte war ... Please write effective code .
Nexus competes with iphone - not primarily with Samsung and the rest, they keep telling us. But how is that going? They have 4 models so far, with model 5 on its way - with again; either disappointed or defiant customer-reactions and just so-and-so (not spectacular) sale-figures to go with it. Google cant afford to take chances anymore. If potential new customers want 2800-3000 mAh battery - just give them that. And why even bother with 16Gb without their SD-option? OK, skip SD but go for 32gb alone.
Nexus-fans keep telling us that nexus competes with iphone. But 4 models have been released and now we se specs for version 5 - with again; either disappointed or defiant reactions. Nexus sales havent been "spectacular" so far, so they really cant afford to take chances. Even most die-hard Nexus-fan wouldnt oppose a bigger 2800-3000 mah battery for the latest model, and why even bother with 16Gb without the SD option? 32 minimum should be the norm without SD. Yet another lost opportunity I suspect.

i was waiting for nexus7 tab with sim card slot, but i am disappointed with the only WiFi version with not so great fetchers, like screen resolution, full hd etc.
I do not mind it having a non removable battery as long as they give a 3000mAh variant in their 32gb model as leaks earlier showed. But its sad that those rumours were not true. 2300 mAh for 5 inch 441ppi snapdragon 800 powered phone is too small. So get ready to face battery life issues!!!
Sumeetxolt, 20 Oct 2013z1 will not get 4.4 before nexus 5 (even nexus 4) both the phones have totaly diffrent aspects... moreNon of smart phones in the world will get KitKat- except Nexus 5- All nexus devices will get it after one month later.
googaplease!, 19 Oct 20132300 mAh battery? google please! But, KitKat making consuming battery different.
It is going to be my next phone, it is awesome in everything. latest Android, fabulous graphics and processing units. New and fastest chipset. Google Rocks!!!!!
