If leaked dimentions of this phablet is correct (151×75×7.5) so, how come it will support 6.2 inch or even 6 inch and how support 18:9 ratio??
Note: 6.2" =157.5mm
I will buy LG when they will make phones with OLED, AMOLED or Super AMOLED display. LCD screens are old and outdated. The phones with LCD screens may have the best specifications but asl long as they are LCD, they are not worth buying.
To, LG phone user.
Can anyone tell me how good LG with providing software updates ?
I was waiting for OP5 but i was very disappointed, then i thought about buying S8+ but price different is huge between India and US, they are simply fooling indian customers.
Now my eyes stuck on this beauty, this phone have everything i want specially larger screen size, so i'd love to buy this and i am in urgent need but still willing to wait for LG V30.
My main concern is Quality and Software update, as i never used LG phone before.
The v20 was well known for its exceptional (wired) audio quality for a smartphone, enough to keep some audiophiles happy to use the v20 as their mobile listening device. It would be great if they could keep/or improve the audio aspect of this device as that would remove the need for some of us to carry around an external music playing device. If the speculations about the v30's specs come out as true, then this would be the only phone in the market that can package quality audio and a satisfying smartphone experience in one device. However, I do worry about how long the battery life may be for the v30, as some claim that it will have a new dual-screen and the supposedly more efficient snapdragon 835 might encourage the designers to opt for a smaller battery to make the phone thinner.
Anyways, we'll find out in September

Many of the v20 user bought it especially for the removable battery and will pass if they go waterproof

my main reason to pickup this flagship were IR blaster, extractable battery and FM radio. This features are difficults to find in a flagship since galaxy note 4.
If Lg go mainstream with waterproofing no IR and no Radio i won´t buy

It seems V30 have everything i want Big screen size etc etc. this is just pure beauty... and i'd still like to bit more for this beast.
any thought ?
Thank you in advance.
I wonder how popular this model will be. Last year, some picked up a V20 in lieu of the Note 7. V20 customer satisfaction could aid sales of this model.
1/3" sensor size, 1.12 µm pixel size, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR
Let's hope (For LGs further existence) the rumored specs are wrong about camera. They tried it in G6, and they lost.
Second screen was the one left specification that makes V series unique... If rumors once again are true, gooooooodbyeeeee LG....
My 2 Cents, 05 Jul 2017Megapixels dont make a good camera, sensors yes....dont matter if you have 24 Mpx if your sens... moreYou have just contradicted yourself. G5 and V20 have better camera than G6 and V30. Because in the case of G6, the reduction in resolution does not come with larger pixel size. So G6 has lower resolution without any benefit. Moreover, G6 has smaller sensor (1/3") than G5 and V20 (1/2.6"). And V30 will have the same camera as G6.
I bought LG V20, because it has removable battery, dual sim card + dedicated microSD card slot.
I will ditch LG if they seal the battery inside the phone.
Hamburger, 09 Jul 2017V30 is bigger than V20 but now no more radio? No more removable battery? Hmm.....I think they had to move to fixed design due to bootloop issues in the V20 and some earlier models. I want an easily replaceable battery, but it is possible the design changes necessary to maintain replacability were within reach yet.
If this phone will be water resistant and allow me to use 2 sim cards and a memory card at the same time, I'll definitely buy it.
Fuuuuuu LG, 08 Jul 2017LG, you have no shame to copy 1 to 1 the samsung galaxy S8! Shame!!!I don't agree with you
This doesn't look like s8
Also lg g6 was released in march and galaxy s8 was released in april so lg did this shape first
V30 is bigger than V20 but now no more radio? No more removable battery? Hmm.....
